Room was nice. handicap accessible. halls are like a maze. Parking is in a separate building, which is a bit of a hassle. Close to campus. Not worth the price in my opinion unless you can get in during a non busy time of year.

Loved our stay and wish we could stay longer! Rooms are so comfortable and spacious. Only drawback was bartenders in hotel bar were slow and not really friendly. Hotel itself is amazing!

We had no shower gel for three days after asking—we got bar soap Lobster bisque was salty and close to bitter—ick—but the lobster Mac and cheese was super nice and hearty! Paid for parking overnight but then had to pay each time we left—annoying No ample supply of plugs in the rooms—this is a must in this day and age and a surprising miss for an updated hotel No desks in the room to work!! Argh!! All over are these small tiny tables—to eliminate the need to linger longer or work—finally found two long tables way in the back Very loud and large dogs are allowed! Don’t plan on sleeping or walking about safely and without threatening barks by ill mannered dogs (and owners) We were phenomenally disappointed! I won’t go back and I’ll deconstruct the lobster Mac cheese and be fine.

The hotel itself is very nice! Everything is new and it’s very clean. The staff is also very nice!

The property is beautifully decorated with a relaxing atmosphere. I was there during a heat wave and unfortunately the room was not cool despite setting the AC very low and maintenance checking that it was set properly. I would stay there again but not in the summer.

The hotel is very cosy, you feel “like home” the style and the ambiance is absolutely charming. The food in the triplet was good, the food in the lionne was “okay” My room was great, i had to change room because the A/C was not working properly. The staff was great

Remodel is beautiful with lovely PSU touches throughout. Perfect spot when attending NSO with my incoming freshman. Loved being close to campus. Also, the ambience, food,service and drinks at Triplett’s were fantastic!

This spot is lovely. Beautifully decorated, clean, convenient to campus and elegant without breaking the bank.

I called to see if we could check in early and our room was ready, so we zipped on over. The front desk person was super kind and knowledgeable. Super easy check-in!

I stayed at The Nittany Lion Inn years ago for a PennTAP conference prior to COVID , and returned this past weekend with my wife. It was just as charming as I remembered, but I noticed a few concerns this time around—perhaps because I work in Facility Management. The staff was friendly, but there were communication issues. When we arrived on our motorcycle, the valet said we couldn’t park in the lot and had to use the garage. I emailed the Inn and was told the opposite—that motorcycles aren't allowed in the garage and we should park in the lot for $12. When we returned to check in, a different valet said it was $25. Even after showing the email, he insisted on the higher rate. It was frustrating and confusing. The room was beautiful, but the upkeep missed the mark. The HVAC return and bathroom vent were dusty, furniture and lights needed attention, and there was popcorn on the floor near the trash can. The toilet seat was broken, and the ice bucket was wet and smelled of beer. It’s disappointing to see such a lovely, historic place lose some of its shine. With better staff training and clearer internal communication, these issues could be easily fixed. I still love this Inn and hope to return for a better experience next time.

Great for our visit to Penn State for New Student Orientation - everything was walkable.

Beautiful and clean hotel on Penn State campus. Highly recommend a stay if you are in the area.
