Nice water view

Very nice hotel close to the Tampa airport. Local restaurants and mall. Very friendly service providers. Nice water views.

Fantastic water views from our room. Very convenient both to the airport and Raymond James stadium. A lot of choices for dining around DoubleTree , the staff is wonderful as well.

I walked in to a beautiful lobby and the clerk at check-in was very friendly. Immediately though, as we were walking down the 1st floor hallway, the overwhelming smell of mildew was evident. I just hoped our room didn’t smell like it but SURPRISE, it did! The room felt humid and smelled like mildew, the bed was super hard and pillows too worn. It looks like the pics, but is totally deceiving. Needless to say, we got no sleep. I’m usually not one to complain but this was very disappointing and I vowed to write a review. Thank goodness the stay was only for a night and we arrived late, but, I would never recommend spending the $$ on this hotel!

Staff was very helpful and the location was close to all the areas we needed to get to.

Staff was horrible. Made check in and checkout very stressful. No place to park when u check in. Long lines. Gave me wrong room number. Ask for new keys and had to wait while staff member did other work right in Front of me. I had plastic water bottles for camping they put in their freezer for me. Staff member stole them. Didn’t care. Worst hotel. And didn’t get my cookie. Lol

Nice location, restaurant was great. I would suggest switching floors in the guest rooms to vinyl plank as carpet tends to absorb odors. Overall, stay was good.

Door wouldnt open half the time because of a faulty lock.Shampoo Bottles ripped of the wall and needed replacement.

Setting aside the $25/night parking and additional $22-26/person for breakfast the hotel was very comfortable, staff was very friendly, the pool and bay view were very nice as well.

Our room smelled like the carpet had been wet before. Also our door opened by turning the handle up which was awkward

The hotel has a pretty high non refundable pet fee. Also having to pay for parking your car on the property should be a crime. Our Room was upgraded because regular room was not ready even after 4:00 check-in, so that was nice. Also pool area is very nice.

Everything was great, my only suggestion would be that the bartender needs help! The poor guy did his best but was overwhelmed.

I was charged twice incorrectly. All because they flagged my room as having been smoking in it, which I do not smoke at all! So I had to call and fix the issue
