I liked everything bout the hotel location roomy only thing I didn’t like not ez access to snowmobile trail maybe bcuz in was March riding on blacktop with sleds isn’t the best for them

Apparently, there is no enforcement of a quite hour. Loud adults and children running up and down the hallway from 10PM to midnight.

Great service and amenities!! Love the Dove line in the bathrooms! Comfy beds and clean rooms! Love the added touch of the sleepytime tea! Wonderful hot breakfast!

Staff was friendly and helpful

I was traveling to the upper peninsula from Georgia with my four children, three of which are grown, and it was just perfect in every way. We stayed at six hotels and this was by far the nicest also the most expensive but not buy that much and worth every penny. The sofa bed did not have blankets and I had to come down and get them for my son at midnight however they came in a huge nice bag. They were very clean. They were very gracious which was 1000 times better than another hotel which I will give a much less good review.

Wonderful stay! All the staff were most congenial. We enjoyed talking with the desk receptionist Logan. He was very helpful and engaging when asked about what things he’d suggest we do while in the area. Very courteous young man. The breakfasts were very good and plenty of options to choose from. The young woman worked very hard to ensure all items remained full. We’d go back to this place every time we’re in the area

Easy in and out. Quiet, friendly staff

Clean, newer room. Was a fine short stay.

Clean comfortable room, breakfast choices and quality was as good or slightly better than typical hotels

1. The tub would not drain fast enough for a shower without filling with several inches of water. 2. The toilet kept clogging up. 3. AC would not stay on we had to turn it back on all night. 4. Got a room with 2 beds and sofa, literally asked the hotel a week before to be sure to get the room right. The sofa was wedged in on an angle that would not allow it to be pulled out as a bed. 5. Asked for extra bedding but “there was nothing extra but a single sheet. No bedding in room for sofa. 6. Check in was long but that’s nothing compared to the other issues.

Very friendly staff at checkin. Our room was very nice and clean. Comfortable beds and large king size pillows. Large tiled bath with long vanity. Dove bath products. Nice, clean breakfast area with several choices. Probably the nicest Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at. I would definitely recommend.

Hotel is in a convenient location. Lots of shopping and dining options nearby. Also, not far to downtown Houghton. Hot breakfast was nothing to cheer about. We stayed for 4 mornings and breakfast only changed slightly each day. Dining area was kept clean and tidy, but really isn’t large enough for the size of the hotel. One day people were standing in the hall to eat. Overall I’d recommend this hotel. Front desk people were very friendly and helpful so were the dining room attendants. Beds and pillows were comfy.

Very nice room very clean

Excellent room. Comfortable, large and clean. We had our pet with us. The front desk was very hospitable. Breakfast served is pretty extensive. Great stay. A bit on the expensive side but to eb expected because of the limited hotel choices in teh UP.

Got attacked by bed bugs
