A proper, luxury 5 star hotel. Excellent location, excellent property. Staff are very attentive, but not obtrusive. Food excellent, especially the breakfast

It is a highly recommended hotel that has easy access to the nature park and the central station for train/tram/bus. The after noon high tea is worth trying, though the portion is considerably huge for tea break

Large hotel with good sports facilities. In s park so I could leave my window open. Only minor negative is that service at dinner was slow and inattentive. Very good service at breakfast though. Handy being not far from train station.

pretty Lake, nice place to stay. didn't have much time to roam around the place. loved what we did.

Splendid Hotel located in an outstanding park setting. Reception and hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Amazingly furnished comfortable room overlooking lake & fountains. Restaurant first class evening meals @ plentiful breakfast. Just the best place for a relaxing stay. A truly 5 star treat

Quality throughout.

Booked 2 rooms with lake view but upon late night arrival (due to lost airline luggage) they were on different floors (which didn’t work for us given kids…)… got reassigned to basement / ground floor level with no view except for large bushes in front of window… Room appeared clean but discovered 3 spiders (1cm and larger) in the first night. Since we had nothing with us (lost luggage by airline) the first night, I would have also expected a bit more than barely getting 4 tooth brushes (no hair-brushes or anything else was available). The surrounding area is beautiful, but for being a ‘luxury’ hotel, I expect better service / amenities / accommodations. - Clearly this Hotel was great in the 80s and 90s… but it’s on it’s way to become a ‘Fat Elvis’ nowadays… Staff was friendly throughout though and overall the visit was fine - but I won’t repeat it.

This is a 5 star hotel in every respect. It is positively palatial, set in acres of beautiful patkland with a lake at the front. A beautiful reception area leads to bars, and a dining room with the breakfast rooms beyond. The breakfast area is sensational with high ceilings and chandeliers. The service provided is exceptional, standards high, and the staff deserve great praise for their attentiveness. Breakfast is a superb experience with a great variety of high-quality food. We were upgraded to a huge room with massive bed, seating area and good-sized bathroom overlooking the lake. The hotel is about a kilometer from the main station with bus and tram links at the bottom of the long hotel drive. I simply can't praise this hotel enough and would highly recommend to anyone.

This hotel is amazing! Everything you expect from a 5- star hotel and more! Beautiful property, great breakfast, super comfortable mattress, feather pillows and blankets. Amazing sauna and swimming pool. Outstanding service!

Very nice accommodations

Overall great stay. Staff were so friendly and the hotel is beautiful. Rooms were so comfortable. Location was perfect! Would have been 5 stars across the board but there was a bit of maintenance needed for things that weren’t working. Will definitely return!

Very relaxing hotel, right in the park, but be aware that it is not really near any other restaurants or activities. There is a fine-dining restaurant (lovely, genteel, a little old-fashioned so if you are in your 20s or 30s it might not be quite your thing!).

Overnight stop to Denmark. Nice hotel, bit pricy but nice location.

The hotel was beautiful particularly the foyer and the orangery where we had breakfast. They had also decorated beautifully for Christmas. Only disappointments was that the room was smaller than we expected for the price we had paid. We had a lake view room. The fried breakfast buffet was also cold but the continental breakfast was very nice. I would definitely stay again.
