What was good about the hotel was very good. What wasn't so good was rather frustrating.
The frustrations. #1 had to be the WiFi. It was intermittent far too often. Many times it required reconnecting to the service. The other issue was the noise. Not great during the day (sirens - but you're next to a hospital, so...) and can be nightmarish at night (booming rap from someone in the street and, I'm not kidding, louder than football stadium PA systems). The walls are apparently thin so if you have loud talking neighbors (perhaps laughing loudly from "a night out", that could make sleeping difficult. The balcony door was sealed shut and apparently had not been washed in a LONG time - not the greatest view through the accumulated dirt. Also, for some reason, after some days, some towels vanished after housekeeping came through.
That being said - the room was VERY clean. The location was fantastic for a not-bad price, considering a convention of 80,000+ was just a couple blocks down the street (that's why I was there). You're diagonally across the street from a MARTA station. There are food option in the hotel and a nice diner/burger joint nearby. The service was VERY good (despite a total of a $45 charge for a microwave and mini-fridge - but it was a ONE TIME charge, not per-night). The bed was comfortable - especially the pillows. The linens were fine and quite clean. All in all, the positives outweigh the negatives, though - by a fairly wide margin.
