The morning after a noisy night with the guests next to us; when we asked to be moved we learned that they had already checked out and the manager adjusted our bill to compensate for the inconvenience! We were surprised yet very thankful!

Such a great location for walking to Busch Stadium and the Gateway Arch. The hospitality hours were also very nice offering free beer/wine/nachos. Very clean hotel and great price compared to others in the area. Would stay here again.

Breakfast buffet could have been better. Always out of yogurt. Should have had real muffins rather than tiny muffins that tasted funny. The biscuits were great.

Hot tub and pool could have been cleaner. And hot tub water level was low for the two days we were there.

Awesome breakfast daily, but it’s the same thing everyday. Be nice to switch it up everyday or so. Rooms were clean but fixtures in room were a little outdated and need to be replaced. Our plug in our lamp wouldn’t even stay plugged in because it was so loose.Other than that I feel rooms could be updated soon, lobby and everything downstairs is super fancy. LOVE THE GREE PARKING TOO.

I just needed a one-night stay in town. Check in was easy, and this location welcomed my dog. The room was very clean, no signs of deterioration in the room or bathroom. The bed was a little hard but still sleepable, sheets and mattresses were immaculate. The room smelled fresh, and the bathroom was spotless. Shower was refreshing with good pressure. The was some noise in the middle of the night, and I probably would have slept through it if my dog didn't alert me to it. I would definitely stay here again.

The nightly drinks was wine or beer, only. The food was chips, chips with cheese sauce pretzels. Breakfast was the same thing 3 mornings in a row. Did not mention they shuttle to certain venues. Never mentioned the resteraunt on site.

We visited St Louis for a family Spring Break trip and chose the Pear Tree based on central location to attractions and reviews mentioning it being a good choice for families. The location is ok but not exactly what I was expecting - walking distance to Union Station but everything else required a quick drive, not really any other restaurants or shops in immediate neighborhood. I do understand why it is marketed as a family friendly hotel - pool is small but clean, complimentary breakfast was decent, and complimentary soda and popcorn was a nice perk. However, it is an old hotel that is in desperate need of repairs and updates. Our regular 2 queen bed room was decent size and surface level clean but there were extensive stains and damage to the carpets, walls, shower, doors, and tile floors. The room also smelled of old smoke. There was no fan in the tiny bathroom so any hot water being run for any amount of time made the entire room unbearably humid. Unfortunately, we also didn’t have the best customer service. We called down for extra pillows before bed and were told they would be up in 10 minutes. After 40 minutes with no pillows, we called down again and were again told they would be there in 10 minutes. After another 30 minutes with no pillows, my husband went down to the front desk to ask for them. The 2 attendants at the desk were sitting there chatting so he insisted he would wait until they brought out the pillows for him. Would likely not choose to stay here again

The location of this hotel is phenomenal. I was able to walk to everything I wanted to see in the downtown area. They also offer a shuttle to and from the stadium if you’re seeing a game! The staff was all extremely friendly and accommodating. I arrived at 10am and luckily was able to do an early check in. The room is very spacious, and has a full length mirror! The linens and towels were all clean and fresh, but there were set-in old stains all over the carpet, walls, and chair. The shower head was amazing, but the floor of the tub was scary, bring shower shoes!! The room itself just needs a deep deep clean. The bed was comfortable. The room overlooked the indoor pool, which stays open until 10pm so I just heard kids yelling all night. I’d say for the location, the price can not be beat!
