We loved the location of the hotel and it the room was very clean and nice but it was small, especially the bathroom. It was adequate for 1 night but longer we would have felt very cramped. Otherwise it is a good hotel with a great location. The breakfast was good too.

Nice central location and great for an overnight stay.

We had a great time, room was comfortable enough. The AC wasn't working, although opening the window in the evening allowed for cooling the room.

Check in was quick and staff friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Close to lots of places to eat and right in the centre.

Excellent location. Room interiors are a little outdated - no USB ports.

Very convenient location, central and close to bars and restaurants. La Rochelle is a great place to visit and the Ibis is a good hotel for a few nights in the centre.

Great location for exploring La-Rochelle, we were there for the weekend for a Rugby Trip

It was perfect in all ways but the internet was horrible! Dropped off countless times on both of my devices the entire time I was there. Had to keep signing in. I complained several times. If you plan to work out of this hotel with your laptop or other devices you may find this problem quite frustrating.

Good price. Good breakfast. Great location in the heart of the city.

We were a group of 8 people,4 couples and everyone loved the position of the Hotel right beside the town and port.No tea and coffee in rooms but you could make them in reception free of charge.Nice touch as we all could have a chat and a cuppa at the same time.Will be back .

Hotel in the very centre of La Rochelle. Two exits - one to the old town, the other to the waterfront. Very convenient location. Staff very friendly. They don't speak English but they are trying their best to make your experience amazing. Breakfast is beyond lovely. I liked freshly squized orange juice which you can have unlimited while having breakfast. The cheeses and jams, bread and bacon are delicious. They have choice of very good teas and infusions which are available any time during your stay at reception and free of charge. Room is clean, airy, everything is in perfect order. Advantage is a hair dryer. I would stay there again and recommend to other people.

Hotel staff spoke some English, I also speak some French so communication was excellent. Rooms were clean, bed mattresses were moving a bit on the bed, but we were not fussed as they were comfortable anyway. View was nice from our room on 4th floor. Breakfast was very nice, some products ran out and had to wait for staff to topup bread, other food, but overall very nice breakfast. Amazing location!

We usually very much enjoy the Ibis hotels. This one is very nice, incredibly well located but... some staff could us a little smile upgrade ! Not worth not going to but worth mentionning.
