Friendly staff, easy parking, good location, comfy room, and clean. Ample shopping nearby, bus to city center just across the street, and quiet evenings. Very nice boulangerie right next door. (Didn't eat at the hotel.) Comfy beds, though the top mattress pad slips a bit for those who toss and turn. Pet-friendly hotel, plenty of room in the bathroom for a litter box. Tons of counter space and shelves. I'd stay here again on my next trip through town.

Convenient stopover at nice hotel with very friendly and courteous staff. We will stay here again the next time we do this trip.

I spent two nights last month from June 12th to 15th at ibis Poitiers Sud and had a fantastic stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. What made the experience even better was the staff, they were incredibly nice, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. Their friendliness really made a difference. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Nice hotel for a short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. The hotel is situated someway from the city centre. The hotel has fairly slow EV chargers for an overnight charge.

The hotel is right beside the A20 motorway so is great for an overnighter, but is in the middle of a retail/industrial area with very few facilities and a slightly edgy feel. The staff were great and the food in the restaurant was fine but the choice was basic and limited.

Fantastic all great no problems at all, so much so we are going to book another room on our return trip to the UK

Broken hair dryer fell in middle of night and we couldn’t stop it so poor nights sleep. No air con despite advertised and generally the room was looking tired . We have booke elsewhere for next year for out two visits

Worst night in our lives. Air con stopped working in the middle of the night so rang reception who couldn’t help and asked us to wake up our children to move room. As we had all our luggages out, we asked if we could just take the children to the other room and leave our belongings in the room and we’re told no and to open the window. Problem the window is right above the children’s bed and was easily climbable. When I said this to reception I was told there had never been any accident… shocking.

There was some mechanical noises until 1 pm that stopped us from sleeping but then there was silence . Could have been the lift shaft noise so we will ask for different room next stay.

Excellent room very clean - breakfast was good - unfortunately a lot of noise around 11pm to midnight - not sure if it was guests checking in or the kitchens

Comfortable and conveniently situated for stopover with our little dog . Contrary to other reviews we found all staff charming and helpful. Parking was free and we parked right outside the main entrance. Breakfast was fine and dinner was perfectly acceptable and reasonably priced. We would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Expensive parking at €20 per night and long way to carry your luggage. Hotel itself was excellent and well located though the reception staff were a miserable bunch

Good location opposite Auchan in South Poitiers, at the end of the N10. Plenty of free parking. Easy check-in and room as expected, typical IBIS really, comfy bed, free WiFi, TV, and shower ensuite. NJ o toiletries as such but squeeze bottles of hand wash and shampoo and shower gel. It seems to be having a mini makeover at the moment with walls being painted and have to say it's good to see this re-investment. Good stay.

Ok for a stopover but outside of that then I would question why you’d stop there. Convenient for motorway and reasonably priced.

Pretty disappointing for an ibis more formula 1 in terms of decor

An ideal overnight stop hotel for us. Courtepalle restaurant was accessible via reception, good evening meal served here, didn’t have breakfast. The room was a bit smaller than other Ibis hotels we’ve stayed in, but was of the same quality when it came to bed comfort, facilities and cleanliness.
