Price didn't match what I was given on expedia. Lobby being in the restaurant is very noisy and hard to check it/ out, not enough staff at front desk.

The property restaurant was great .. nice view, tasty food

Dining was very limited and much more expensive than other area hotels and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeper was great and very friendly. Front desk staff were average. Try hey could learn a lot from Marriott.

Great location overlooking the harbour. Just a short walk to all the shopping, restaurants and bars. If you’re ambitious it’s only a 1/2 walk (up hill) to signal hill. The in hotel restaurant, Sparo, is excellent!!

Was lining up to check in and seven Porter flight attendants and pilots came in and butted in and staff let them check in before us.

We recently stayed in a Harbourview room and had a very pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the standout features was definitely the view. Overlooking the harbour, it offered a beautiful backdrop both day and night. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. It's within walking distance to several key attractions including the Northeast Trail, Signal Hill, Quidi Vidi, and the Terry Fox Monument. We were able to explore so much of the area without needing a car, which was a huge plus. We also dined at the hotel's restaurant a few times. While the food was just okay, the convenience of having it on-site was appreciated, especially after long days of walking. Overall, a great place to stay if you're looking for comfort, a great view, and a central location for exploring the best of the area.

Sam at the front desk was very accommodating, let us check in early so we could rest a bit after our red eyes flight before exploring the city, really appreciated.

Good location, great breakfast, nice rooms. Didnt like PTAC that was very noisy and flipped between cooling and heating all the time.

I had breakfast included at the Sparo which was just outside this world. Very friendly staff. Great location too. My room was located next to the fitness centre on the ground floor - which can be an issue if you like to sleep in (as it gets noisy in the am), but I loved it. I think it would be great if the room had a floor length mirror! As I was in town for a business meeting, getting ready without one was a bit tricky at times. But overall, loved my stay here and would happily stay here again.

We really enjoyed are stay the food was well prepared and the staff in the hotel very professional thanks again for a wonderful vacation in St John Newfoundland.

Room was 351$ total and the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. The work desk was so close to the bed that a chair did not fit in the space. My husband had to sit on our cooler to work at his laptop. The desk clerk directed all questions and conversation to my husband when the reservation was made in my name with my visa. I found her dismissive attitude of me quite sexist and belittling!! Our room was not yet ready at 3:30 and not until much later. Things didn’t start well at all and my opinion of what i expected to be a nice treat for my husband and me was somewhat tarnished. Thank goodness dinner at the Little Sparo redeemed the evening!

Decent. That's about it. Have to pay for parking, that was odd. Friendly staff. Good location

Great stay, corner room had a perfect harbor view. No major issues at all. Parking does not have room for oversized vehicles to enter the garage (my rental was a Ford Bronco), so keep in mind when visiting if using a rental car.
