Nice Good rooms and checkin

Good experience with pet friendly.

We were charged a fee for having an 8 week old yorkie when people bringing a great dane got the same fee. We travelled to Chillicothe to pick up the puppy we had just adopted. We also had a shower that had hot water for 5 minutes and then it was ice cold for 5 minutes then scalding hot for 5 minutes then ice cold again. Terrible! There was no adjusting it. We only used thar shower once while we were there because it was that bad. And the whole room smelled musty! We could barely stand the smell. Maybe had something to do with the dehumidifier running in the hallway

The room appeared to be clean. The sheets were clean and smelled faintly of bleach. Water pressure in the shower was good. The breakfast offerings were adequate. The problem was the humidity inside our room. The carpet felt wet, as did the bathroom tile. The air was thick and humid and very uncomfortable. The air conditioning did nothing to help. I couldn’t keep from imagining mold growing under the carpet. It was impossible to sleep because of the stale, humid air. There were dehumidifiers running in the hallways. They should have put one in each guest room.

Spend one night here after seeing the Tecumseh show. It's an older building, but well-maintained with nice staff, a sparkling clean outdoor pool, and good breakfast. Would stay again.

It was expensive for the quality of the hotel..

Pro: Staff were very friendly. Plenty of shopping and dining nearby, breakfast options were standard, we didn’t use the the pool but it looked nice Con: traffic on the main road going into town is horrible so if you don’t eat at a place within walking distance be prepared for a slow trek to anywhere else. The hallway we were in smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The room fortunately didn’t smell so bad but the hallway was bad. The place could definitely use some updating but worked fine for a place to sleep for a few hours.

Breakfast was great, check in process was cumbersome. Staff was not overly friendly.

Both front desk staff and both breakfast staff we encountered were very nice and helpful. Only issue we had a second floor room with no elevator, difficult for seniors with luggage.

The A/C was a little rough in that it woke us up throughout the night. The bar was lovely and the bartenders were awesome. Breakfast was good.

This hotel had the absolutely friendliest staff of anyplace I’ve stayed. Breakfast was outstanding! However, the facility still has smoking rooms, on the first floor, which no amount of cleaning can disguise. Thus the down grade. Staff said their major upgrade is scheduled for Fall 2025, which will end the smoking room situation. If they keep the same staff, I’d stay here again, for sure.

Very Nice

The staff here are exceptionally nice and helpful. Barbie is a gem! The motel is convenient to travel, right off the highway. For one night, this is a decent choice. The downside is the motel itself. The carpet needs to be replaced. The mustiness of our room set off my husband's asthma. And we had a challenging time closing and locking the window which made me nervous at night. The breakfast is good and we can't say enough good things about the staff. If you have lung issues, I don't recommend.
