Hotel rooms are a bit dated and could use some refreshment, but the amenities are good. Varied choice of food for breakfast. Convenient hotel parking.

It is a lovely place to stay- easy access to the city. The staff are lovely, very helpful and very polite. The hotel is definitely value for money.

The expectations from 4 stars hotel and what we’ve got was absolutely different. The stars doesn’t correspond at all. Starting with cleaning and finishing with breakfast everything was a big disappointment. Not recommend it at all.

I think this was one of the best hotels in Budapest at that price level. I frequently travel to Budapest for work. For me opening hours of pool and wellness are wonderful (closes at 23:00 which is ideal for me as I only have time for sport in the evening). Breakfast selection was amazing, there was a juicer to squeeze your own juice. I will definitely return again

Amazing customer service

The room was spacious and clean but the bathroom and toilet were separate and very small but adequate for the job at hand. Although there was a small cooler fridge in the room there were no complimentary water or soft drinks but they had complimentary tea and coffee..on the whole it was a pleasant stay the staff were very polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. Food was fantastic too.

Very clean, great breakfast, great staff

The staff were exceptional. Friendly and accommodating. The hotel is 10 minute bus ride to the city. Only thing is the air conditioning does not work towards the end of May because its still chilly outside and they don't consider it summer, but it does get muggy in the room without air if you don't open the window, which only opens a little.

Novotel Budapest offers a convenient location, but the overall experience was underwhelming. The room was basic, with beds that lacked comfort and support. The bathroom was extremely small, with very limited space around the basin for toiletries. Breakfast was average, with a modest selection that didn’t stand out.

Staff ok, card was not coded nicely so had to return to reception.

Lift is making squeaking sound.

Great stay. Very quiet at night. Is out of the way, but straightforward to get onto the city

Prices are good this is a conference hotel so can get really busy.

Room service was worst they don’t come for anything.. ask for towels or anything water they just refuse to come .. worst customer service room service I have ever seen

I’m afraid I would not stay here again. Mixed service from staff for example one day the lifts weren’t working and despite big queues of people no member of staff went to tell them to use the service lift . (They had put up signs but not everyone could read the language). Also when the lift opened it was pitch black. The beds were never made up properly, literally the duvet pulled back over. Sheets were poor quality and scratchy. Our view wasn’t good at all. Food for breakfast was actually okay although they coffee machines produced about a tablespoon of coffee not matter what type you chose. On the positive the hotel is located close to public transport and does have some good facilities for families. There is a small pool and sauna but I never saw anyone working on the reception there. Oh one thing to be aware of - it’s located close to hospitals I think because the noise from ambulances and police was unbelievable some nights - if you go take ear plugs!

This hotel has everything you need for a slick and comfortable business trip.

Great location on the Buda side. Public transportation and shopping mall is just next corner.

Good hotel, the parking is okay, the room was fine, despite not long ago I had a renovated/refurbished similar category room.
