The location was very convenient, but unfortunately they were renovating during my stay. I am loyal to Holiday Inn.

Hotel is centrally located, across from the beach and within easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Hotel breakfast offerings varied and plentiful. Hotel rooms are showing fatigue. We stayed twice. First stay in a 7th floor ocean view room. Only the hot water worked in the shower so no cold water to regulate temperature, hair dryer was broken and street traffic noise limited sleep. Second stay in a 3rd floor garden view room. Door handle very loose creating a struggle each entry to open the door after multiple tries with the card reader, security safe quit working, hair dryer could not be used because the clasp did not release it from the wall holder, shower ceiling showed water leakage damage, air conditioner was extremely noisy and fan operated only on high. Depressing the low button resulted in fan blowing low momentarily before reverting back to high. Consequently room too hot for comfort sleeping.

The room was ok, the bathroom always smeled bad. There was no frigobar at the room. The breakfast was ok, but the area could hold the enough people.

The location is excellent - right near the boardwalk, plus a grocery store & minimart with pizza restaurant within a couple of blocks. The parking is safe/secure, and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and good!

The staff were very helpful, breakfast was great. Only problem was the noise coming from other rooms. People have no respect for other guests.

This is a very pleasant hotel. Good pool, nice outside area and in a terriffic location. Directly in front of the best part of the Iquique beach. It has no restaurant, but you can order food in, the hotel has menus of two restaurants, I tried one, reasonably priced and very good. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Nice enough; things just slightly off, e.g. elevator didn't stop exactly at the level of the floors, .making using luggage carts very frustrating, etc

Great hotel on the water, staff very friendly and My first room had issues and they changed my room to resolve. My only complaint is that I came early after a night flight and would have been happy if I could get the room at that time without having to pay an extra night.

This building looked at little tired. Stay was fine. Breakfast was average.

Good service, great location, mattress is good (I have back problems so it's important), great breakfast, clean, overall very satisfied, the only think that was not perfect was not very quite, but it was OK, not too bad.

Great hotel... friendly staff... liked that we were able to open a bottle of wine, order a pizza and just enjoy

The hotel facilities are nice, rooms are large and well equipped. Breakfast is good, could be improved. The hotel is located across the street from the board walk.

Great stay. Very comfortable room, great view of ocean and venue from room. Breakfast was good, many choices. Holiday Inn Express is very consistent, that is why I choose your hotels over others and I have stayed in many different locations around the world.

A minibar in room would have been great. Rest all good and comfortable.

Lovely, comfortable and relaxing hotel with friendly and helpful staff and nice breakfast. Also has a good swimming pool and gym.

The reason for my low rating: we returned to the room after a day out to find the room safe open; at a glance, nothing looked amiss, but upon a closer check the next day we found a significant amount of cash missing. We notified the management immediately, and they investigated briefly, but it was mostly met with a half smile, a shoulder shrug, and a 'sorry-there's-nothing-we-can-do.' Yes, I'm aware of the policy that they're not responsible for lost/stolen whatever, and I realize it's my own stupid fault for leaving the safe open (we were in a rush and in-and-out of it and I just couldn't remember if I closed it or not, I thought I did...), and I realize that it's entirely within the realm of possibility that I might have mis-counted or simply lost it, so I am in no way accusing anyone of anything; however, I'm usually so careful about these things that it's unlikely it was simply "lost." Needless to say, that put quite a damper on our stay. Other than that, the hotel is nice enough, the staff was friendly overall, and it's close to the beach. Just be absolutely sure to put your valuables in the safe. And, oh yeah, lock it up before you leave.
