The room was pretty clean apart from the fact that it was damp probably due to the carpet. The hotel definitely is a bit outdated. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. Overall a good experience. Enjoyed the pool and bath tub!

We stayed for one night and were happy with everything. Staff is very personable and made us feel respected and welcome. The room was clean, the beds & linens are lovely. We appreciated the amenities in our room. The only downside was we weren’t told parking cost extra. After we left, I received an invoice for two days of parking @28.99 per day.

The staff are courteous and very efficient . My room is beautiful and I’m Looking forward to climbing under the fluffy duvet for a much needed rest. I enjoyed a delicious gluten free burger and fresh green salad. Love this hotel!

Breakfast was included and it was excellent. Staff was helpful. The rooms were clean.If they are able, staff can extend the checkout time.

We had a great stay! All of the common spaces are modern and update to date. The rooms and the halls however are very dated. Wallpaper is peeling. Location is incredible - close to all restaurants, bars and waterfront.

Really great hotel, a decent size with clean, well maintained rooms, and great location within Halifax’s south end. Just steps from argyle, so you do hear the odd bit of street noise late at night, but nothing severe. I would gladly stay again.

This was as fine a hotel as I have stayed in. Everything was just perfect.

Generally a great hotel however at over $400.00/night not providing bath robes in our room was very poor!! This was not an oversight as when I called the front desk I was told that this was in fact their policy. They did however deliver two bathrobes to our room after I requested them to do so. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
