I booked 2 rooms with 2 queen bed then I got 1 room with king bed and the bathroom was very bad so horrible, water was coming out from under the toilet, the bathtub was stained and rusty. Arrived late at night and had no choice, I needed to sleep. I couldn't shower because I was so disgusted.That was not the room that appears when I booked online.

They were able to accommodate an early check-in which was much appreciated. The room smelled funny so I picked up an air freshener and we were good.

Had to change rooms twice and still it was barely tolerable. It’s in now way worth the price and no way would I stay again. They really should be refunding me. First room/night no sleep with constantly running toilet and room was icky. Second room was better but AC wasn’t working right and toilet running again. Switched to third room and was awakened by screams of terror! Still don’t know if it was human or animal. Absolutely the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had! The photos online, while not setting expectations high, are still very inaccurate. Room furniture is beat, missing, or not functional. Staff tried but it just wasn’t enough.

Room key didn’t work, got another room, no remote control (tv satellite not working), then had to ask for toilet paper. Woken at 3 am by a screaming woman. Our son ended up staying with his brother at his house instead of in hotel room.

Room was freshly painted, but truly needed cleaning. Dirt and grime in corners. Painters could have at least cleaned splatters on counter/furniture. No maid service. Wonder where my $100+ per night goes. Charge, of course, for smoking in your room, but the lobby REEKED of smoke. Stayed here out of lack of options as we're here on business, but will try to find someplace else in future.

The only thing clean in the room was the bed. It was dusty, the little table and the floor were dirty. There wasn't any toilet paper, we had to go ask for some. We left for the day on our second day and the room was not serviced while we were gone. Atleast there wasn't any bed bugs.

When I booked online RED ROOF PLUS in Amherst near the university of Buffalo and was automatically charged by hotels.com Once I arrived the man at the desk tried to run my card again and charge for the nights stay. When I disagreed he called someone and went into another language other than English. The phone call took a very long time and all I could understand was my name in that exchange over the Phone. I received a hotel key card and when I went j to be room it had no way to turn in the T.V. . I left the room and asked for a remote control for the T.V. I tried to get back in my room but they kept card didn’t work because the battery in the door was dead and needed to be changed. They told me it would take a few minutes several times, after 30 minutes I was able to get back into my room at 11:00 p.m. The curtains were broken so privacy was an issue and early morning light was annoying. I took a shower but even with the drain open I stood in a pool of soapy dirty water. No refrigerator in room, no remote at first, key card didn’t work, tried to charge me again, broken curtains. Will never stay there again and I advise people to never stay there ever.

Filthy and decrepit building. Never saw a room because I wouldn't stay in a place this run down. I recommend bulldozing it and building a new facility - really.

Do not stay here, ever. We were given room 144. I didn’t have high expectations, but this room was just terrible. Wet carpet, smelled of mold, not cleaned from last stay, walls and shower in disrepair. Fixtures rusted, curtains had holes in them, bed was just uncomfortable. Shower was so dirty and had water damage on the wall above it. Quite literally the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Locals later told me this part of town is where they house migrants and homeless. Makes sense looking back. The owner refused a refund initially but gave only half after pushback. Really just a terrible experience overall. There’s better out there. Skip this place.

Room not cleaned, no toilet paper, no towels, front desk rufe. Called expedia to try to fix issue and front desk lied to them saying they would send housekeeping when they told me they don't provide housekeeping. Room is disgusting, hotel is essentially a construction zone with hazards in parking lot. Supposed to be pretty friendly but don't feel it is safe to walk dog and there is no where to go. I've stayed at red roof for years and they are always basic but good quality. Not this one. Awful.. Avoid!

I wanted a refund immediately and a refused. Reserved king and got two full. Room not clean, gum on the wall, mattress stained, just run down. Moved to a king but was a handicap room. Bug on the floor, worn out pillows, tv wasn’t user friendly. Just awful

Upon registering for my room they did not mention anything about construction going on on the property, They put me in a room exactly where the construction of the porch, stairs to upstair rooms and pavement were going on. Very noisy, intrusive. Would not have stayed there if I knew this would happen. Not even a discount or other accommodations when I complained of this.
