This motel is located right off the highway in a quiet, safe neighborhood. It was clean and had nice grounds for dog walking. I was disappointed that there wasn't a 1st floor room available when I checked in since I had made the reservation and requested first floor over a week before. I know not all requests can be honored, but it was requested well in advance only to be told all first floor was sold out. The room was immaculately clean. However, the frig and the microwave had been removed along with the coffee pot - so it's very basic. It would have been perfectly ok for a night except the beds were devices of torture! Lumpy and springs popping up all over. It was so bad I considered just packing up at 2 am and continuing with my journey. If you're lucky enough to get a room with a decent mattress then this place is good for the price.

The front desk staff was awesome

i make the reservation for smoke free and the personal gave me a room straight cigarettes smell then I have to tell him I didn’t like cigarettes smell he switch me for a room looking like a housekeeping room for the third time then switch me for a nice comfortable room I stay there every time I go to visits my family in NewHaven this is the first time happening this to me after the inconvenience everything good
