Unfortunately for me my stay was a very short excursion we reserved the room a day in advance to enter and find that the room was still unclean the toilet had urine in it the sheets had tears the room had roaches and there was no way to switch rooms or get a instantaneous refund for the money I just spent

As a smoking room, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no odor, not even from cleaners — I have never smoked so I’d notice right away. Location was convenient for my bicycle travel from VA Beach to Elizabeth City. However, there are some issues created by former guests: the mirror frame over the sink was destroyed, cigarette burns in bedspread and edge of tub, and the front door security latch must be replaced. Evidence of water leaks and mold. If my future travel calls for staying here, I will, but I’ll book early enough to get a better, non-smoking room (this was the last available).

I think they are remodeling and the roofers came and started really early but otherwise it was an ok stay

There was little roaches in there the place i like it but definitely needs to be bombed

I've been in 3 horrible rooms in the last month and 2 were at this Econo Lodge. I don't think i booked a smoking room but i got one anyway. Cigarette burns were in the on the side of the tub (about 15-20 marks) and in the blanket on the bed (approx. 10-15 burn holes). Few roaches and structural damage as well. After last night I'll never stay at this location again.

Sleep before work

Our non-smoking room smelled very strongly of smoke. There were multiple burn holes in the comforter and sheets. Otherwise, we slept fine, had enough room in the mini fridge for all we needed, and the AC kept us comfortable.

It's ok...... for a night. Don't get too comfy, even though you won't.

It was poorly kept gave me a room on the second floor. I have a boot on my foot. Ask for a first floor would not give me a first floor.

Mediocre at best, wouldn't be a 1st - 2nd - or 3rd option of not for my current situation.
