Very small room. Felt congested and unsafe

It's a lovely small hotel in my favourite city. I haven't used Hotel Boulevard for a few years (just down to logistic) but a warn welcome from a member of staff who'd remembered me (personal touch is always nice).

I haven't stayed at Hotel Boulevard for some years (just because I haven't been in Cologne much), but being back was like returning home. I like the place.

No balcony

Excellent hotel, staff are wonderful, breakfast is great, nice quiet rooms many of which have balconies. Had a lovely view of the cathedral from my room. Wonderful hotel and would definitely stay there again, only a 10 minute walk from the cathedral!

The hotel is small and old, but does the trick for a fast trip to cologne. Area is walkable to the centraal station but nothing immediately around it. Check in and out was quick and with a smile. A single room can only fit one person. It’s th width of the twin bed.

It is clean tidy and functional, so good for a short stay. Staff were very helpful.

The hotel is basic but for one night ok. I could not get a taxi from the hotel as there is no taxi rank near by and 2 hr wait for taxi so very busy area and although the hotel explained how to go find a taxi for a person with no experience of the area I would just get lost and when on business the to and from needs to be easy.

The hotel is convenient and cheap, but not luxurious in any way.

I booked this hotel initially because I was visiting a friend who lived nearby for a few days. The price is really good for its central location. Now...it is not a very new hotel, and the decor is dated, but it is clean and presentable. My bathroom had been renovated with new tile and all. It's really a great value if you don't need a four-star hotel.

Had a big room with a nice sized bathroom. Hotel is in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants nearby. It is located not far from central station. Had good breakfast buffet.

I stayed at cologne messed time and for that period hotel price rises several times

Nice friendly staff, room was clean and had balcony to smoke on. Shower was fantastic, really enjoyed being in there. Breakfast is a large buffet, they do not let you go hungry! Only issues were the pillow (too large - two smaller pillows would have been better) and the fact the radiator didn't work. Overall a good, clean, pleasant hotel in a good location. Would recommend and stay again.

The good: decent location, friendly staff. The bad: No AC, hard bed, and lumpy pillow. Not what would pass as a three star in the States.

Parking was difficult, room was small, only one pillow and blanket available. Wifi was free but kept disconnecting. Pretty typical for an older hotel in Germany. Breakfast was mediocre. Decent location, though.

Perfectly fine hotel where service is friendly though bed is a tad hard (though not unusual for Europe)...18 minutes walk from train station makes it convenient. What was a disaster was internet which came in and out and was terribly slow. using VOIP services like Skype is impossible and I had to use my cell for calls....

Hotel Boulevard was a good choice for my stay in Cologne attending a conference. The reception staff were very accommodating, and the hotel's location was convenient for walking to the locations I needed to reach. Overall I would rate the values as very good.

Small well run hotel conveniently located about 15 minutes walk from the Dom.Friendly helpful staff who speak English. Nearest metro station 2 minutes walk away. Cologne Messe is about 30 minutes walk. Good continental breakfast. No restaurant in hotel but bar around the corner from hotel serves good, well priced German food. More restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Good for the price.

Das Frühstück war angemessen und ausreichende Auswahl.

Super Lage, 20 min zu Fuß bis zum Bahnhof, sehr nettes Personal, Frühstück auch sehr lecker und dem Preis mehr als angemessen. Saubere Zimmer.Wir bedanken uns für den schönen Aufenthalt.
