I was put in a newly renovated room, it looked great in the room but the ceiling in the tub was cracked and leaking. I literally just unpacked and they said if the people upstairs wouldn't move they would move me. They said it would be fine if the shower and toilet didn't run on top of me. The next morning it was literally falling into the tub and the toilet stopped flushing.

The room seemed like they didn’t change anything from the previous stay. The room smelled gross, the sheets were stained, the floors were dirty, the little table in the room was all wobbly. The towels had hair. The tub was gross. There were fruit flies the second we walked into the room. We saw a cockroach on our last night in the bathroom. They never let me know that housecleaning had to be requested, so we left and came back expecting the room to be cleaned but it wasn’t. Tried to make a call to the front desk with the room phone but the the phone didn’t work so I called from my phone and when they answered, I told the girl that housecleaning didn’t come to our room. She let me know that it was upon request. I’m not one to complain but I let her know the sheets were stained when we got into the room and she said she would have someone drop off new sheets. Although the lady was very nice over the phone, we left and came back and there were no clean sheets. Things seemed so out of date. The pictures on Expedia seemed like everything was clean and new but it wasn’t. I was expecting to enjoy my stay with my bf for Valentine’s Day watching movies and listening to music but the tv didn’t have nothing but Channels, thats not a huge deal but I was expecting things to be up to date. I’ve never had to write a review, even on other bad stay but but omg this had to be the worst stay.

Staff: The facility itself is very large but is not maintained to the level presented online. Furthermore, the majority of the staff that are present are rude and appear inconvenienced when required to assist in any way. The phone line from the room to the front desk would never ring through after 5:00 PM as there was not a front desk agent present. Facility: The hotel itself has an old school Grand Hyatt feel, but it has not been maintained. The common areas are being heated with industrial heat lamps in the place of a working heater. I purchased the king bed room. When I inquired, I was told this room had a microwave and fridge. The fridge was present in the room but the microwave was not. The hotel had removed the microwaves from the rooms and added one communal microwave for the entire facility on the 6th floor.

There are no words to really describe the state of this hotel. Handicap room wasn’t requested. Shower was leaking and then when turned on, shot freezing cold water all over my and the floor. Almost slipped snd seriously injured myself.

Cleanliness of the room specifically the floors. I walked around in socks and my socks had absolutely no dirt on them. The only downfall was I was there for 7 days and no one came to see if I needed anything. I wasn’t concerned about fresh towels because I had brought new ones with me.

The staff at front desk when we checked in was rude. The room was very dated. There were also no proper pillows on the bed.

Yes. We got a call shortly after checking in about the smell of marijuana coming from our room but when I went to the front desk they said it wasn't our room

Rooms were updated and the pool area was nice. However, check in was a bit of a wait due to only one person working. The only real complaint I have is the beds were very hard. I had a difficult time sleeping.

The room was great and breakfast was good( only thing about breakfast is, it’s only a one time breakfast for 18 dollars and sum change when ever you add it to your reservation) I thought it would be everyday. Also was looking forward to pool but it was closed the 3 days I was there (They said it was closed due to cleaning and it was a safety hazard although it was closed 3 day) wish they could have said that on the website.

Ac problem, we had to change room because the first room we had was a share room and the people in the other room was loud 1am in the morning.

My boyfriend and i drove from florida to stay within 15 minutes of family for christmas. We figured this was a nice middle point to everyone we wanted to visit. The reviews were mixed, leaning towards more negative then positive, but i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt since weve never been here, and the many complaints about construction inside were over a month old.. Upon entering our hotel room, i was immediatly smacked in the face with the smell of chlorine. We were right next to the pool. I figured hey, were only sleeping and showering here so its not a big deal. If it happens to really bother me ill mention it. The shower was russian roulette on whether it wanted to actually heat up or stay lukewarm. This really bothered me as after a full day out and about what you really want to do is go back to your hotel and take a nice hot shower, especially when its freezing outside. I did not get this luxury regularly. But the icing on the cake and straw that broke the camels back, was the construction noises. The workers decided that the week of christmas is no exception to haulting, at 8am every other day, including christmas eve morning. We had to ask the staff to have them stop the noise so we could get some sleep. They did for one day, but that was it. Why wouldnt a hotel make sure to put their customers in wings and floors opposite of construction work? Downright awful. We checked out early and i will not be coming back. I wouldnt recommend this place to others

Updated rooms, clean areas, nicely decorated for Xmas, bar food good..
