Proximity to the central business district

It’s an older hotel, clean but outdated. Pool is old and cold and sauna was down but all in all it is a comfy sleep.

Dont like the parking zone besides that exellent

The rooms were clean but old and in need of updates. The pool and the sauna were in disrepair. The staff was friendly.

I was really hoping for a relaxing stay, but unfortunately, the experience was a major letdown. The biggest issue was the noise; the central air conditioning system was incredibly loud, kicking on with a heavy rattle that made it difficult to sleep. This was compounded by a very uncomfortable bed—the mattress felt worn out and lacked any real support. The room itself felt quite claustrophobic due to the surprisingly small windows, which let in very little natural light. To make matters worse, there is no complimentary breakfast included, which is disappointing given that the price is quite high. For what I paid, the value just isn't there. You can easily find other good hotels in this price range that offer better amenities, more modern rooms, and a much better night's sleep. I definitely won't be staying here again.

Awesome location

The beds make a lot of noise when you turn around. The room wasn't what we reserve, big désappointement. Hotels.com said we had to talk to the front desk and they didn't do anything. Big disappointment with both services.

Check in was 3 pm, We didn’t check in until 3:50 our room wasn’t ready. They scanned our parking pass . Said we could come and go as we pleased. The pass didn’t work. We had a king room booked already, They said they upgraded us for the inconvenience . It wasn’t an upgrade! The room had a couch ! It was very disappointing. The room was very old and dated.

Great location, quiet, friendly staff.

Our phone didn’t work for guest services. We went down to ask for new bed sheets, they didn’t send anyone up to help. The vending machine dispensed us two water instead of pop, front desk charged us for a pop downstairs instead. Our keys stopped working the following morning. Unfortunately they couldn’t discount us because we booked through Expedia.

This hotel is in a great location. They renovated the lobby and restaurant in the recent past, but the hotel rooms and hallways are very dated. Time for a renovation / refresh. This also included the pool area…( old).. room rate for what you get is not good

The hotel was old but charming. Our room felt clean, but the pool area didn’t feel that clean. The drain in the shower (pool area) was clogged and my son found a nugget of poop in the pool. It was obvious that a baby had been swimming and likely the staff wasn’t notified to clean it. The sauna didn’t work that well either but it was still relaxing to sit in.

The staff were very helpful, wifi was reliable. Close to Scotia Centre arena and great restaurants.
