Nice hotel with spacious room on 4th floor. Restaurant was good for evening meal with salmon fillet. Camden Ale was nice although £7.20/pint. Good service and breakfast was nice. The bathroom has some mould on the silicone around the bath and a gap at the pivot of the shower screen which results in the floor becoming wet.

Getting to the hotel on foot, as someone who doesn’t drive, was inconvenient as maps had me walking on a busy motorway. Most staff at the hotel were pleasant to interact with. Breakfast stops being served on weekdays at 09:30—this is strangely early and unfair as some people do wish to sleep in for a bit. Considering it is 2025, some Halal meat options would have been great (I put this on my booking and the Hotel responded saying they’ll make a note of it). My room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Complimentary water bottles in the mini fridge each day were highly appreciated. The safe wasn’t working when I arrived, so I had to request assistance—two members of staff from the reception desk came to assist but didn’t know how to use the new safes so it took a while. They strangely asked me to input a code in front of them, and they weren’t very apologetic for the inconvenience of the issue as I had expressed I was on my way out. There isn’t much to do in Coventry so I spent a lot of time at the hotel—it would have been great to have the option of using Netflix and other streaming platforms on the room TV. The bathroom was lovely, and the lighting was great for getting ready for the day. I didn’t love the smell of the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel provided in the bathroom. The shower water pressure was good. The gym had a decent amount of equipment. The equipment was worn out (e.g. barbell pads). The gym closes at 21:00, and last entry is 20:00.

The hotel is a bit outdated and looks like it needs a refresh but the room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable, While we were there a party was happening in a function room and there were bottles and glasses littering the pavement in front of the main entrance which were there all evening (going out to dinner and coming back) which was a bit gross, The main thing that made me quite unhappy about this stay was the additional £8 per day for parking and also the pool which is advertised you have to pay to use. Also there is no fridge in the room, no provided drinking water in the room and no provided toiletries apart from the large pump bottles on the wall. It left me feeling like it was a money grabbing operation that was scrimping at every turn.

A huge soulless property that feel like an airport hotel. With the exception of the public areas, nothing appears to have changed since the early noughties. The rooms, though faded, are comfortable and clean. Breakfast scraped by but could be better quality. I wouldn’t return.

Children running up and down corridor at night. Given cookies with walnuts (husband has nut allergy and didn’t read back of packaging, he was really ill. May be an idea to mention to guests when handing out). Air conditioning in room don’t work at all. Fan in room but extremely noisy. Only given 1 bath towel/hand towel so had to phone for one for 2nd guest.

The pillows were old and smelt awful. I could sleep because of this and the noise in the corridor on both nights. Everything felt tired and old in the room. Not what I expected from a Hilton! Staying at a trace lodge which comes up better in all the above, very disappointed in my stay.

Ideal location for the night. Not sure room was as clean as expected (pieces of biscuit left on floor near bed), otherwise was very good. Hotel facilities were good and staff were very helpful.

Probably the worst room of any double tree I've stayed at, and I use the chain regularly. The room was quiet, but really tired, and the bathroom was in a very bad way. It's a shame because the rest of the hotel seems really nice - the bar and restaurant were great.

Great hotel. Friendly welcome. Comfortable room which was a good size. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. It was good to be able to have access to the pool. Would definitely recommend.

The toilet paper was single pli and rough, I may as well wiped my ass with newspaper. You have to pay for parking even though it's a private carpark on the property. There was one towel for two people. The room was dusty . Breakfast was 19 pound for one English 😂, I said no to that.

The restaurant food was great and fresh. The staff are great and helpful and we always enjoy staying, the gym/pool experience was a little disappointing with no towels because the attendant had to stay to monitor children. We had to then go get room towels and didn’t feel like great service, the last time we stayed there were also problems with the pool. also the room temperature was freezing and not changeable.
