Overall Ratings & Reviews La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Sandusky near Cedar Point

In town for softball tourney and Cedar Point. Hotel was 8 mins from sports complex and 10 mins to Cedar Point parking lot. Fast food restaurants (McDs, Wendy’s, Arby’s, Jimmy John’s, etc) was about 5 mins drive from hotel. Hotel is not fancy and has some age but seemed well maintained with a nice fire pit sitting area with about 10 chairs next to outdoor pool. A few warm breakfast items plus bagels, toast, waffles, cereal, coffee was provided each morning from 6-10am. Staff was friendly and provided extra towels, soap, etc when needed at front desk.

Front desk was super accommodating and did her best to get us into our room asap. Wish there was AC in the front living room area because it did get pretty warm in there when you were watching. Kids had a blast in the pool.

Great place for a short stay. A short drive to many attractions in the area!

Pool was very cloudy and nasty looking! I would allow my dog to swim in it to be honest! Entry door locks broken and could be entered by just pulling on them instead of keyed entry! Definitely a budget hotel! Not La Quinta I am used to staying at. 2 star property! Breakfast was barely edible! Would not rebook at this property!

Clean and spacious. Good, stocked breakfast. Wifi in back of building was a little weak but not terrible. Good place to stay if going to Cedar Point as it is only 10 minutes away. Restaurants and shopping close by.

Spaces room, great location from cedar point. Loved the the continental breakfast.

Asked for a room close to the wait doors before booking and got the second floor waited over an hour or so after checking in at 330 for a room. Stayed two nights and housekeeping never came

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights, and we were so happy with where we chose to stay. Immediately entering the lobby, you could smell how fresh and clean it was. The employees were exceptionally kind, too! Upon entering our room, the cleanliness continued. We felt safe there, as well. If ever in the Sandusky area again, we couldn't think twice to stay here again.

We were assigned the back building instead of the main front building. The pictures online dont show these rooms because they have an enormous pink jacuzzi tub surrounded by mirrors in the middle of the room. The room next to us was smoking pot until 2am, told night shift, they did nothing. Work up with major headache from the 2nd hand pot inhalation. Windows dont open, so no way to get fresh air.

Lights in my room would shut off or flicker from time to time

The bathroom sink was cracked, the bathroom ceiling was spot, touch up painted. The direct tv had issues. The tv shows were interupted / stopped about every minute. The pillows and towels were nice we liked having 2 tvs, a fireplace and couch. We liked that it had a pool and fire pit.

I loved the stay. My girls enjoyed the pool. We had a deluxe suite and it was perfect for us!

I really enjoyed the stay it was quiet and very clean

Traveled with service cat and they were wonderful about it and even left my room alone so not to bother my cat when I was away and said if I needed anything to let them know. Breakfast was great!

Hotel room was clean. Staff friendly and facilitated my needs. Pool was empty and not working which I wish I had known. Front door also didn’t work the whole time we were there. Anyone could walk in. Overall for the right price I’d stay at again. It’s close to cedar point and quick food options.

Had five people and we got a suite . It was really nice
