Great AC in the room I finally got

The good thing is that is close to downtown to walk but the bad thing is that is to dirty

The whole hotel is old and moldy and don't know how they operate

Super dirty shower had fungus definitely not satay in again rate this hotel 0/10

There were dead roaches all over the room. Blood stains on the sheets. When i switched rooms there was no ac then no hot water. The toilet would not flush. Overall that was the worst hotel i've ever stayed at. So dirty all over the place.

And no WiFi

First room had black mold. Was a surprise $75 deposit and a parking fee. Got upgraded to a better room that only ahd dead roaches throughout the bathroom.

It was horrible I felt scared…. There was shady people in the hall ways … I didn’t even make to my room that’s how scared I was. Went down to reception to check out I waited for over 30 min for someone to show up so I could check back out. I was only there for lesss than an hour. And I left I woul not recommend that place!!!!! Your picture on the site don’t even resemble the place it was dirty and scary and I hadn’t even made to my room…..

Please do not stay here! It was a horrible exp to be here. I made a big mistake to book here. It was very very dirty and not safe to be here! I had to paid $35 for parking fee for 1 night.

This property is terrible. The towels were covered in hair. Everything is old and needs updated. There is mold around the shower and paint peeling from the ceiling.

Hotel is pretty run down but staff is very nice. Not a luxury location but bearable on a budget

Dirty dirty dirty I’m not much to complain but when there’s mold in the shower and tub is yellow instead of white I wasn’t comfortable in my stay

During this experience, the first room they gave us smelled of pee and puke. The second room had bugs, bug eggs, and mold. There was also dirt in all corners of the room and bathroom.

Staff is great. From the lobby to parking attendant everyone was super nice and helpful.

This hotel is OLD! The sink and toilet backed up! The facility is old and dilapidated. The entire facility is dirty and run down. There's no pride of appearance in the facility at the City's Capitol! The location is great, but nothing else. It's unsanitary and the A/C filters were clogged with dirt. It is not worth any money to stay there. For a Wyndham/La Quinta property this is a disgusting place. I wish we knew about this before booking.

We booked this place because it was significantly more affordable than other hotels in the area. You get what you pay for, which was ok for our purposes. The hotel is dated and grimy, but the room was acceptable. The shower had such strong water pressure that it was almost painful. No mini-fridge or microwave in our room. We had trouble with the key cards, which the staff warned us about, and we had to get new ones about halfway through our trip. The hotel is built like a maze, and the signage is weird, so we were always getting lost looking for our room. BUT, the staff was very friendly and helpful. And the location was great! Right next to the Capitol building, and within walking distance of UT Campus, the State History Museum, and "Dirty 6th Street," where there are lots of party bars and restaurants. We did take a lot of Ubers to get to get to other areas of town, like West 6th Street, which is a cleaner and nicer night out. Overall, I would stay here again, because I'm a cheapskate and I don't tend to spend a lot of time in the room when I'm traveling.
