The room we were in had problems with the lock not locking correctly. The staff were always quick to try to help, but it wasn't ideal that we were never 100% certain our valuables were safe. (I hope this was just an isolated issue that affected only our room and that it has since been repaired.) The hotel itself was nice, and the staff were friendly. The location is fairly central, with the train station just a short walk away.

I was surprised that on check in I was informed they had down graded me from the room i'd booked, but no refund of the difference, only an offer of 1 beer. The room itself was ok but very noisy due to the construction site right outside the window. Breakfast was good

Brilliant hotel. Extremely clean, bed.very comfortable, lovely shower. We received a very generous of "deal" which included buffet dinner and breakfast gratis Foods extremely good

As explained already, this hotel is in a very bad neighborhood. You feel obliged to pay $20 per night house parking even though there are plenty of space on the street, just does not look very safe

My experience from start to finish was fantastic. I was able to check in early and every staff member I spoke to was very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious.

We stayed on the side close to a railroad track and the noise was bothersome. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant and good in every way.

Dinner was good as well as the breakfast. Many options to choose from. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. There was no a/c but the hotel had a fan you could use. The weather really didnt call for it. I would say if you stay on the back side where we were,(2nd floor), and open your balcony door for freah air there is noise from the local train during the day and into the evening.

Good hotel but the central AC is too noicy and cannot switched off. Not ideal for people who likes a very quiteb room.

This hotel was great, the staff was super helpful and friendly at all times. The only issue we had was that despite the hotel resetting the router several times, we could never connect to the WiFi during our three day stay.

I had a great deal on a superior room. Well worth it for the proper desk and sofa. Huge bed too! Shower very warm and pleasant. It’s not in the best area of Drammen, but the property itself is great. Steady broadband. Staff very friendly and well-versed in English. Food - excellent, in a great dining area (see picture). The breakfast has everything you could want.... even meatballs! Don’t forget that a light evening meal is free too! I have stayed many times elsewhere in Drammen, but this will be my first choice now.

When meeting up with friends in town and staying overnight, Hotel Tollboden is a very convenient place to stay. The area is pleasant and the rooms are nice and comfortable. The hotel serves a good evening meal included in the room rate, and the buffet breakfast is very good. All in all, a very nice stayl
