The hotel is immediately in the centre of Poitiers which is the only redeeming feature. It is way in need of modernisation as is very shabby and old. We were offered free breakfast which I have never had in ibis only Ibis styles. Maybe this is to make up for the state of the hotel. Parking is available across the road at the centreville car park which is excellent and very reasonable.

The staff was very friendly and gracious. The hotel is clean and the location was great.

Claims to be a pet friendly hotel but say mottos the €30 a night charge for the dog to sleep on the floor of a room you have already paid for

It is a shame that there is no kettle in the room with tea and coffee which would be most appreciated and are offered in many hotels

Poor service, cleaning staff take priority of solitary lift, no attempt to cater to different languages (rattled through information at gallops pace)

It was cool outside but the room was hot, the air conditioning did not work, only hot air. There was not good enough air flow to cool the room by opening the window. We could not get the TV to work either. Such a beautiful town, a supposedly pretty good hotel in the middle of town for a disappointing night of sleep.

When you promise wifi you need to deliver. Front desk young woman insisted it was my fault I couldn’t connect. She wasn’t interested in hearing why that made no sense. Three days later at checkout I learned they had eventually recognized they had a problem, but the techs who promised to fix it failed to show up day after day.

Fantastic location, less than 2 minutes to the centre where it gets lively and bustling without being overpowering. Parking for us was great, but we were on motorbikes touring France so not sure how busy the car park may get when busy. Great value for money with fantastic staff. Martin and Maggie.

Trip was amazing. Hotel is in the perfect location to explore the city, we also took a trip to Futuroscope which isn’t far away at all. Room was clean and perfect for our needs. Staff on front desk very helpful and speak very good English. Parking was very helpful even though a small car park. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Stayed just one night on way up to Calais. We have stayed here before as an overnight as we like Poitiers. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the city & is easy to find using sat nav. The room was very clean & the bed very comfortable. The staff were very helpful in sorting my booking out (slight mix up of dates, my fault) we didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t say what it was like however we have stayed in other Ibis & the food was always good.

This hotel is typical of the Ibis brand -- clean, comfortable, modern, reasonably priced, and with normal amenities. It is also located within walking distance of the most interesting parts of the old city of Poitiers. The small car park was great to have, as well. The buffet breakfast was tasty and ample. For all these reasons, I always try to stay at Ibis hotels.

Just one night at hotel as we were travelling through France. Perfect place to stop.

Small room, however it was very clean and comfortable. Very central, friendly staff and a nice breakfast. We have no complaints and would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyable stay but bedroom and bathroom very small.

Very central to shops, restaurants etc but was not noisy in the room. Breakfast was adequate, but I was disappointed that there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

It was a comfortable stay but the toilet was very very small!!
