We stayed for 2 nights for a sporting event. The hotel is dated but has gone through some renovations. The front staff was great. Our cleaning lady knocked on the door both mornings despite their being a Do Not Disturb sign. There was another group of sports kids there that were running around the halls all night. The area did not have a lot around for food. We ate at the bar/restaurant that was on site. The food was good and came out quick. Would be nice if it were open past 10pm.

Clean, safe and nice hotel.

i called this property before booking as i was looking for a fucntional hot tub as i have bad back .. they assured me that it and the pool were in good working order time out the pool was more like a cold plunge .. and the hot tub was cooler than bath tub water after you have been in it for 40’minutes .. i went to talk to the staff and they said they were having issue lately .. i was like i called and they didn’t mention this when i asked.. complete waste of money.. either the day staff was unaware of the known issue or they lied .. either way i can’t believe i wasted money like this.. complete fail

Even with construction, this was a great hotel stay. The best thing was the friendliness of the staff. The breakfast buffet was superior.

The hotel is under renovation in spite of it all my stay was very pleasant.

the hot tub was crap, very bad hot tub. there was a party in the party room on the main floor, and they were playing music very very loudly, with a lot of loud bass, and i could not fall asleep for quite a while because of it. the way your hotel is made, the music goes to every room on every floor, because it is so open. i will never go to that hotel again.

I need it to make a rush reservation and this was the quickest I was able to find, but was not the best choice for the price I paid.

It is close to the P&W plant, which is good. However there is a renovation of the entite exterior happening, which creates some inconvenience.

Legally speaking, they covered their behinds. In the Hotels.com description (in a not so-clear place) it stated there was construction “nearby.” I only noticed this after I had already fallen into the trap and arrived at the hotel. I quickly realized that their careful use of the word “nearby” was on the point. “Nearby” could mean a hundred meters away, ten meters away, or literally right outside your window. On the hotel’s own website, they mentioned there was construction but claimed it wouldn’t be “disruptive.” And again, I think that as long as your ears don’t bleed, apparently it’s not considered disruptive. One of the loud construction “thuds” even startled one of the hotel’s employees. But let’s start from the beginning. I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon after a five-hour trip for a three-day business stay, hoping to get some rest. That’s when I first heard the construction noise. They moved me to another room, but it was even worse. I was woken up by the sounds of hammers, chisels, drills, and even loud music right outside my window. The “nearby” construction was, in reality, zero inches from my window. Their solution? They offered for me to leave within less than an hour and find another hotel. They would give me 75 CAD, and take the rest of the 480 CAD I am paying. They also told me I was in the wrong because their “guests” usually leave during the day (when construction starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m.). I refused their “generous” offer. I had a meeting

The hotel was clean and quiet. Easy to get around. Enjoyed it.

The room was nice but the decor was boring. The view was of scaffolding. Breakfast which was included, required vouchers that we never received, had to go ask for them. Took 10mins to seat us. Breakfast staff were nice and friendly. Reception staff were not very nice and seemed to have attitude. Had to park in a back parking lot and walk through construction to get into the hotel, did not feel safe doing so.
