Staff was lovely, room was great and the building is stunning. Only comment would be that they had multiple events on and there wasn't adequate parking for overnight guests when we arrived to check in, although they do have an agreement with a property close by.

I used to always stay in a downtown hotel but lately safety has been an issue when travelling alone. I enjoyed my stopover at the Inn and will get back there anytime I need to make a stopover in the London area.

Room was amazing with its antique architecture and decorations. Breakfast was included and excellent.

My daughter and I had a wonderful night’s stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and service was impeccable. We would return. I also left earbuds in the room. They took the time to call me so that I had a chance to pick them up. Not every hotel would do that. I am so appreciative.

The building was very unique but in an older part of the city. The walls and floors were thin you could here all the activities.

The Idlewyld Hotel is a charming venture if one is looking for something different from the sterile look and feeling of more the contemporary hotel. Elegance of an era now past is everywhere but it is amplified by an excellent, friendly staff; this best describes your first and lasting impression. If you are in need of a quiet time away, then look no further because, not only was the stay much more than we expected, the adventure will be memorable.

Room was very average, very warm even when you adjust the thermostat to 17 degrees, it was very warm. Breakfast very limited and quality average comparing what the rooms charge, Jacqui was an excellent hostess at breakfast on our second day stay. Overall expected much more.

Unique place

This venue has been on my bucket list for a while so when I had a chance to come to London for a friends' wedding, I took the opportunity to stay at this beautiful Inn. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room was very comfortable for our 3 day stay. Parking was not a problem. The buffet breakfast was included with our stay. The items were fresh, but there was no change in the breakfast offerings each day. I would have like to see some hot cereals and/or waffles etc. Overall my husband and I had a relaxing stay and would recommend this venue to couples looking for a quiet, relaxing stay, away from the downtown area. I highly recommend the Relaxation Massage - this was definitely worth it.
