Health and safety issues with the sauna.
Shower pipes in the changing rooms are leaking bad.
In the first room they had to put a portable heater in the room because the heating wasn't working?
I feel so sorry for the staff.
Their holding Thier heads up high to a hotel that needs a complete refurbishment.
How they can charge this amount for the state of this hotel is beyond me .
I hope the main owners read this and go pay this hotel a visit.
And to thank they're employees for the wonderful work they do to keep this hotel just about running .

Large room with good amenities, somewhat tired. Check in was efficient. Leisure club again tired. Common areas smart and welcoming.

We had a good stay at the hotel . Road works at the roundabout was explained and we were fine with that. We decided to stay in the hotel on Saturday night rather than navigate the roadworks . We were extremely hacked off when the bar closed at 9.50pm with out any warning or explanation meaning our night was cut short

When you arrive at the hotel it's quite lovely, old castle style with a contemporary reception area. Check in was fine but the room was quite disappointing (expected a bit more traditional from the exterior) and had a feeling of being very tired. Decor seemed fine but the general feel was that the room was maybe next in line for a much needed refurbishment/upgrade. Mattress very bouncy and unfortunately didn't offer the best nights sleep.
Have stayed here a few times, but not for a few years and will think twice given that there are 2 Premier Inns and other options - but it was probably cheaper to stay here tbh so I guess you get what you pay for

Staff at the hotel are lovely.
Entrance is beutifully done but the rooms can do with a bit of an upgrade - couldnt get windows to open to let some air in.
Pool was lovely.
Had to wait several times at the bar for drinks. Couple of occasions we had to go look for staff for us to be served.
Unfortunately the noise from others staying was awful. Very loud music until midnight along with lots of shouting and singing - not great at the best of times but even worse having to listen to it while youve a small child in the room.

Excellent value for money!
Facilities were average however the hotel and spa were very cold, specifically the pool.
In general, we enjoyed our stay at Landmark hotel.

Nice hotel with spa facilities. The pool was a GREAT temperarure which was very much appreciated. We had dinner at the hotel and service was a little slow. The room was nicely appointed but showing signs of wear.

Meal arrived for my daughter and it wasn’t what she ordered. When this was established she was offered a free drink to make up for it. No offer of the meal ahe actually ordered and we had to pay for something she didn’t like. I didn’t want to make a fuss but left a bit annoyed. Then a staff member got the wrong room and walked in when we were in bed!
Food was good though and very clean and comfortable. I don’t think we should have been charged for that meal

Hotel itself is actually ok -with a good leisure centre however food is a disaster!
For a hotel out of the city not being able to offer an evening meal is unacceptable - too busy.
Breakfast was shocking and certainly not worth £15 - especially as no coffee or tea was available as the only machine was broken and two members of staff were unable to fix it

The receptionist at the front desk didn't have and knowledge about the tourist attractions. Her body language wasnt very welcoming.
The rooms weren't cleaned nor replenished. Over all didn't enjoy the house keeping service. We were allocated ground flior room and 8 am in the morning staff ourdoor is using lound blower to clear the leaves. Its like a motor on your head.
There are road works happening due to which it gets very inconvenient and difficult to reach the hotel between 7pm and 7am. We were driving in circles after which we finally found the correct signs towards the hotel.
Hotel landlines don't work so you cannot contact them.

I stay regularly due to the gym and pool and usually good value. No issues, the room was a bit tired and would benefit from a redecoration, carpets were worn etc. breakfast was tasty but only one person serving so had a small wait but overall very good value.

Room was great but the stay was let down by the restaurant.
Evening meal was average and breakfast was disappointing for the price
