The hotel is in need of an upgrade. The property around including the parking lot is substandard. The pool was broken, the revolving door was broken, the site said there was a hot tub, but there wasn't. A key indicator was the TV service they subscribe to appeared to be pre HD like it was 25 years ago. It wasn't a bad stay for one night, and then leave early.

desk staff were very nice, whoever is running the place is terrible; makes guests produce proof they aren't from the area via credit card and if you can't/don't do that- they steal your money (cause you dont get refund for the room)- anyone from Sudbury area is NOT allowed to rent a room.. if they dont want business then shut it down imho... i will never use again and never recommend again

The lady at the front desk was super friendly! The room was super clean. Quiet place. We sure will be back at Comfort Inn East!

Staff was welcoming and made check in an easy and smooth process. However, we noticed a bunch of garbage under the bed. A burger wrapper, empty plastic bottles and some plastic wrappers. We notified the front desk and asked that it be cleaned up. It wasn’t. We asked again and it was done but the garbage was just put in the can in the room and the room wasn’t made up. We were disappointed to say the least. That being said the location was close to everything we needed and staff was friendly.

I didnt even get to stay because i didnt have a credit card so my money is gone now

Laundry facilities are listed on the hotel details on hotels.com. This was one reason I booked this property. They DID NOT have laundry facilities. I had to go to 2 locations and have cash in Canadian currency in order to do the much needed laundry. I almost was too late. This cost me a great deal of time, money, and energy. No elevator made it hard to get our stuff upstairs by ourselves. We are over 60.

This property attempted to cancel my prepaid reservation due to local address when I rented room for my contractors , I’ve rented over 100 plus Rooms in past couple years here but this will be the last . Very poor customer service by the front desk employee , was rude ignorant and very unhelpful/ unprofessional

Nice room but had to get toilet paper and shampoo at the front desk.
