Easy parking, although be aware to book breakfast before you go or you are charged double from $20.00 to $39.00 if you just rock up with no booking. They also dont do continental breakfasts.

We loved our stay, very comfortable and warm. The staff were amazing and assisted with our stay when I fell ill. Beautiful daily breakfasts, very close to the city centre and easy access to all the sightseeing opportunities.

Beautifully presented hotel. Staff was fantastic. Prices are excellent, overall very good value. Only 2 minor complaints - our mini fridge wasn't running well and needed to be defrosted badly. Secondly, the shower wasn't quite hot enough. Still a fantastic stay and I would recommend this to anyone who's on a budget.

We have stayed at Rydges 3 times before, and loved it. This time, no. We had the king suit, but only one soap and one face washer for the twin vanities. First night, I thought it must have been an oversight. Second day, same, just one soap and one face washer. Room was spotless and bed was up to Rydges standard, very comfortable.

Comfortable beds and clean room. Nice gardens surroundings. Lovely bathroom and spacious room. Exterior lighting made the room too bright for sleeping so eye mask was necessary. Would stay again but bring eye mask.

Very hospitable, arrived late, no problems with the check-in or rooms, clean and could watch the Friday night footy on the oval from our room. Breakfast was great and a good price too if you booked at check-in.

The room and everything in it were spotless every day and I stayed for 10 days. The service was faultless. I would most definitely recommend this property. Good location also. Thank you

The room and hotel were fine. However, we rented a room hoping to have a sort of vintage staying (that is how the room was advertised) to then be sent to a room that was not in the main building itself. Again, the room was ok but it wasn't what we expected. The breakfast could definitely improve. The pastries seemed to be those you buy frozen at the supermarket. No cheese slices, some days ham some days salmon (Hobart, Tasmania, you would expect more). Worst scrambled eggs on the world.

This a great hotel just out of the centre of Hobart but near the North Hobart dining strip. We love the clean bright and large rooms and free parking. We stay here often and really like it for good value rooms and the breakfast is tasty too.

Fantastic little boutique hotel housed in an historic former school for the Blind and Deaf. The rooms are generously sized, beds comfy, staff polite and helpful, and it has a brilliant restaurant. One thing that I would recommend is to install heaters in the bathrooms as they get quite chilly. Also employ a bellboy/girl/person to help the reception (they do almost everything!). Will stay here again. :)

This hotel is definitely haunted… Lots of reviews and stories online. The staff were nice. We checked out a little early due to a plumbing issue but got a refund for the final night so no arguments there.
