All the staff was friendly and accommodating towards anything and everything needed to be answer, everything was walking distance, even the train station as well, the room did tend to get hot during the day but they provide a fan for that as well. All in all the experience was great and I will come back for sure

A bit dated hotel but excellent location and breakfast

We were in Finland for a race in Lahti. Close enough for us to stay and the town was really cool, centered with a castle and a good military museum.

Super friendly staff and very accommodating to last minute changes.

The staff was super friendly and the location was nice, walkable to several attractions as well as a shopping mall. The beds were comfortable and a cot was ready for our child, which we did not even ask for, so that was a great extra touch! We were also given trays to take our breakfast to our room, as we did not feel comfortable enough eating indoors at the restaurant with the covid numbers. The only downside was the room facing the street, due to us liking our windows open and the noise from the bar below us at night. Next time we know to ask for a room not facing the street. Overall this was an excellent stay!

Just a one-night trip, but enjoyed the stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Have stayed at this hotel a couple of years ago, and will come back again in the future.

we.had two rooms. they were large comfortable and well appointed in typical Finnish style. Car parking was excellent and the hotel is in the center of the town. Breakfast was also excellent and good quality. The bar was not open but looked good

We had an excellent stay. The hotel was very comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. We had particularly good meals in the restaurant in the evening.

I stayed in a room that was inexpensive due to it being above the nightclub. I was 2 floors above it, but had no issues regarding noise.

First the hotel front was difficult to find because the front door is on a walking only street. This made finding the parking lot and reception difficult. However, the breakfast was good and the reception person was helpful. Still the hotel area of town is less than than vigorous and we upgraded our room on possibly incorrect hotel input. We did enjoy touring the fortress, enjoyed the dinner a few blocks away, and the walk by the lake.

This is a great hotel to stay in - I insist on this accomodation every time I to work in Hämeenlinna. Situated right in the town centre with ample car parking, the location is ideal. It's obvious the staff enjoy working there and are happy, and this comes across in their excellent, friendly, and efficient service. The bar is almost English in its atmosphere which is particularly endearing to me. I've always recommended Hotel Cumulus to my working colleagues and they've never been disappointed. Many thanks to Terhi and her team for their excellent service.
