We last stayed at the Bonaparte in 2010. The years have not been kind to this once elegant property. It is indeed "tired", as others have remarked. The kind staff cannot make up for rooms that show signs of cosmetic rehabilitation years past, now in desperate need of further attention. The bedding is old, the furnishings in the rooms basic. The Providencia neighborhood is quiet and safe, but it is a ways from the central city. Santiago traffic is fierce. If you are in the city as a tourist, you might want to consider lodging closer in to the main sights to save time and money on Ubers. And a word of caution, almost everything is closed on Mondays - restaurants, all museums, and many shops. Plan your stay accordingly.

Staff at the hotel are a bunch of snobs.. this is the first time ive encountered such people; in Chile of all places. They were the least friendly demonstrated zero warmth and humaness. What a shock to our systems.. and we are visitors to Chile; yet born in Chile. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Breakfast was great.

We stayed 3 nights and they were awesome. It is located in a very nice area. The room was very clean and the reception crew were great. Breakfast was very good. Everything was awesome. Thank you for a great stay!!!

Staff was great ! Room was clean , and outdoor spaces well cared for. Bathroom door would not close properly

The front desk staff was nice. No amenities, very old and small beds, this hotel is runned down. No tissue paper in the bathroom. Coffee pot and cups but no coffee. Breakfast very plain. Dinner at the hotel restaurant very bad. Overall very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend or comeback here. Worst hotel stay I've had in a while.

The staff was good and accommodating but the hotel is run down and lacks amenities. Restaurant food is bland and overcooked. The included European style breakfast is not very appetizing.

This hotel is located in a great neighborhood. The staff is very helpful and always available. Breakfast is great ! The pool area is very relaxing and clean.

AMAZING experience. The gentleman who checked us in made our entire night after a rough day. Some of the best customer experience I’ve ever had. Such a cute little hotel too!

Eager to please ... reqyested to change room due tonoisy air conditionning and given 3 options. Staff always friendly and easy to talk to Good breakfast but a few additional options would be appreciated (alt to scranbled eggs)

Great location! Superb staff! Great breakfast variety! Safe, walkable area! Ultra clean!

The hotel is designed quite poorly and its rooms need updating. The beds are old and sink in the middle. The pillows tired. Toilet blocked, non-smoking room had been smoked in with all materials smelling of it. Some staff didn’t really care maybe because nothing could be done about it or maybe because they didn’t want to do anything about it.

The staff was superb and it was nice to be able to try to talk with them in Spanish but have the flexibility to respond in English. I was sufficiently accommodated however I would not consider the amenities to be four star service. There was no iron or tea/coffee in my room. A small gripe for an overall good experience. Breakfast options were great and there is a bike rental near the entrance. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet place that's just a 10 minute bike ride to the action!

Beautiiful and cozy hotel with lovely rooms, great check in and check out experience, conveniently located, quiet neighbourhood, waking distance from lots of amenities.
