The elevator was out of order... They told me before I paid at least. The extra walking wasn't bad until I got to my room on 3rd floor (room 304) with a hot pizza and I had to go back to the desk to have my keycard reprogrammed... Luckily this only happened once in my 2 night stay. I travel a lot and assumed check out time was noon... But of course I got the dreaded hotel staff knock at 1115... Another thing that sucked was the shower head water would only get luke warm with barely any pressure... Other tenants staying were more vocal and trashy with complaints than I was...

Sheets had stains, sinks were clogged and overall cleanliness was gross.

The appearance of the room was pretty shot out. Stains on the carpet holes in the furniture however, the bed was very comfortable. The place is only 100 bucks a night so what do you really expect?

Avoid. Elevator wasn’t working and I was on the 3rd floor. No breakfast other than bad coffee and packaged pastries. Supervisor Alvin wouldn’t bring me a cup, plate or any cutlery, dishes. And not one cup in the room. Trash piled outside near receptacles. Hard pass!

Stayed at this hotel for a family event. First the elevator didn’t work which is understandable going through maintenance. Went into the room and was met with a horrible smell. Went to wash my hand and ALL the towels were stained, bed sheets were stained floor was dirty. It honestly seems like NO ONE cleaned the room. Was pretty disgusted and had to go to the store to buy towels and a blanket to cover the bed because it just felt icky to sleep on the stained bedsheets and pillow. Honestly worst hotel I’ve ever been to. I never write reviews but I just had to warn people not to stay here EXTREMELY dirty

I have stayed in hotels all over the world and this was by far the worst. I’m pretty sure if I would’ve died in the lobby it would’ve taken them two weeks to figure it out. One thing for sure it would’ve been more comfortable than the bed that was in room. It would be hard for me to choose between being homeless on the street or sleeping in one of their rooms again.

I got bed bug bites all over me staying here. Worst hotel experience. I filed a complaint on their website. No response. Nothing.

I had reservations for one night stay. Was in town for an all day volleyball tournament. Hotel check in policy was from 3pm to midnight. We arrived at 9:30 pm. No one was at the front desk to check is in. Waited in lobby for 15-20 minutes still no one showed up. Had to leave an find another place to stay. Also felt unsafe as there was a woman roaming around and talking to herself loudly. Also very strong smell is disinfectant in the air. Just overall terrible experience after a long day of tournaments, just wanted to go to sleep but that wasn’t going to happen at the Extended Stay in Lake Forest CA. Beware!!

Disorganized and dirty

The room was clean and well appointed when we arrived but the bathroom was in very poor condition. The hand wash basin was clogged as was the toilet.

Unfortunately, the room I stayed in the shower did not work and I was able to take a tub bath, but at 70 years old it’s a little difficult. The room carpet was dirty, the bathroom did not have a toilet paper holder, the toilet seat was loose There just seem to be a myriad of problems. The staff was understanding and tried to get it fixed while I was there, but it did not work out and I left a day early.

Reserved a room with a king size bed and paid prior to arriving. Front desk informs me that all the rooms that have a single king bed are either full or housekeeping hasn’t got to them yet. Downgraded my reservation even though I had a higher cost room compared to the one I received. Property itself has many unpleasant smells. Hotel is understaffed and very dirty. Better options at this price point.

Not very comfortable at all. No pots, plates no utensils, the blanket is not comfortable.

I found the hotel is not clean enough. Something went under the bed, there were all kinds of garbage under the beds, even durty pampers. Public areas and parking were durty.
