Super narrow room. Old style. Carpeted floor. Dark venue.

The hotel's position is very strategic, right in the city center. Want to shop, eat, go for a walk, just walk around it all. Lake Wakatipu is right behind the hotel, we can relax while enjoying extraordinary nature. We asked for a room on the top floor with a beautiful view, but were given the corner room on the 3rd floor without a mountain or lake view, a little disappointing. But the atmosphere was calm, not noisy, the room facilities were good, we could sleep soundly even though the pillows were too soft.

Great location, right by Lake Wakatipu and near the kids playground. Walking distance to many famous restaurants and souvenir shops such as Rata Dining, Fergburger, Fishbone, Global Culture, Aotea, and The Outpost. Room was on the small side, only shower no bathtub. Well supplied with extra towels, glasses, and milk for tea. They provide hot drinks in the lobby in the evenings when it started to get chilly. I tried their masala tea snd it was delicious.
