Heat did not work in our room, tub was broken, was garbage in room behind the fridge from previous stay of another person , bed was comfortable , shower water was hot and constant. Front desk person was very nice check in was smooth

The selected room was cold and dirty. When I entered the room I found it very cold air and floor. They haven’t thought of preheated the room in a -19 degree day and in a ground floor. Heater took too long to heat and was very dirty. They have a breakfast included but honestly it’s not a breakfast… they have a bagel without having cheese. Hot water tank that has barely warm water. I didn’t have the experience that I was expecting as I have been in another hotels but the service was totally different

Staff was friendly, and funny, almost to the point of inappropriate, but all in good fun. Room was clean. Everything nice and bright. No “old” smell anywhere. Too bad no breakfast. The only thing I wish I could change is the room temperature. It was cooler than I usually like.

Hotels.com verified review

Not so good! The hotel’s computer system was not working and I was asked to go for dinner and come back later! It was late, I had no reservation, and was tired. I then booked an online reservation with Hotels.com, confusing this quote with the Zen hotels.com quote of CAD$34 cheaper! Went to bed, and had to listen to the metallic ‘ker-think’ of the entrance/exit door at least 100 times between midnight and 03:00am. Ended up stuffing a towel under my door to help muffle the sound. Woke up and went down for breakfast where the staff were too busy discussing Thanksgiving turkeys and trips to the local Dollar Store rather than replenish the breakfast counter. Breakfast options were pathetic - 5 packets of butter for the 4 people there. I emptied the juice jug and it never was refilled! Sparse choices and pickings - toast and cereal - the worst I ever experienced! Then contacted Hotels.com about a price match and they advised me that I did not qualify because I had no reservation more than 24 hours prior to arrival! Prejudicial or what? I asked for flexibility in their policies (like Air BnB shows - they credit my Mastercard in events such as this) but haven’t heard back. Hope to get the price difference refunded or credited to my account so I can remain a loyal customer of hotels.com.. Bryan

We booked, and then showed up for them to say they dont have a room ready. Why can you book a room that isn't even available? Imagine you were internationally visiting and they did that? What would you do? Luckily im still in NB but I literally drove 2 hours home after PAYING for this “hotel” Best of all? They charged us for a room they said didnt exist!!!! Actual 0 stars
