Excellent location. Old town and the beach only a 15 minute walk. The area felt safe. We had the superior double room which provided comfortable space for 2 people with luggage. The screen in our window had a couple of large tears in it which allowed flying bugs to get in. The buffet breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We traveled with friends who stayed in the single rooms. They were very small and had to put suite cases on the floor. Overall cool old hotel.

I really couldn’t find anything about the staff or facilities to complain about. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I will recommend this Hotel to all my friends.

The hotel is very convenient for getting around Nice. The trams, the station and the beach all very nearby. Lots of very good restaurants and the lovely old town which is very lively especially in the evening add to the holiday. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful. Beds are very comfortable the only thing I missed having in the room was a small fridge which would have been good to store drinks and some fresh snacks.

We landed early and once at the property we asked if by any chance there was anything available which they did with a smile and we got a room. Everyone was nice, helpful and friendly. On top of that, the location is perfect from there you can walk to a lot of places including public transportation. Will definitely be back iwhen we go back to nice, thank you Hotel Boreal.

Great location.

Very adequate hotel in a great location just off the main shopping road. A very pleasant 10 min walk to the beach and a few more to the old city. Staff was friendly and I have no complaints. Small room but good value for a short stay. Comfortable bed and quiet. Would stay here again.

Great location, very clean, we felt safe, excellent value. Room was very small but plenty. We were especially happy to have a terrace. Excellent location, seemed very clean, excellent for the price. Front reception were not the best but there were few interactions. I took advantage of some of the extras offered for your arrival, Macarons and wine. I would discourage doing that. The macarons were not packaged and nothing like pictured, just a few put in a glass, and the wine was not cold so I could have gotten my own close by for less. Overall my husband and I were very happy staying at Hotel Boreal.

Very tiny room and my door lock broke so every time i want to get inside my room i need to get a staff to help me! Very inconvenient.

The hotel is ideally placed between the station and the town centre so very easy to hop on a tram to the airport or the old town. The bedrooms are small but well furnished with spotless modern bathrooms, with a bath which is not usually the case in France. Very good self service breakfast although the scrambled eggs don't keep hot under a single night light. If they cooked omelettes or poached eggs on request it would be perfect! While they are diligent in sending out emails before your stay they don't reply to all the questions eg can we book a table for dinner - but they don't have a restaurant as it turns out. But their dinner recommendations were very good.

The property is in a good location, close to shopping and very walkable. It was a bit of an older building and there was an issue with the window where the screen was broken and letting in mosquitoes but was ok once we addressed it. The staff seemed friendly and it felt like we got some value for what we paid.

I liked the convient location of the hotel. Staff very helpful and there was always a member of staff around. Breakfast good

Wonderful hotel near everything

The only downside is that our room didn’t have a fridge
