Breakfast was good had lots of options. We had issues with our key but staff was very helpful.

Our room was completely clean, the concierge were very friendly and helpful, the location was great. Would definitely stay here again.

I miss the waffles! The pancakes were not cooked enough and felt like slabs of rubber. I love the Reno’s in the rooms! No more carpet, yay!

The check in was very welcoming. Everything was very clean. Our room was awesome. Very clean and comfortable. My only beef would be not enough channels on TV. A better cable system is needed for sure.

What I expected budget hotel

Decent breakfast. Staff were nice. No elevators. Very big flight of stairs for somebody with mobility issues. Good price. Many restaurants at close proximity.

Good location, plenty of places to eat in the area. The only issue I have, and it's common in Southern ontario. Lots of two floor places do not have elevators and I have no desire to haul luggage upstairs at my age. We managed to get a ground floor.

The room and the staff were great. The placement of the toilet paperroll is awkward. Instead of beside the toilet it is on the opposite wall. It is difficult to reach.

Curtains are thin and stiff, unable to block lights. There is only one layer of curtain. Usually hotels/motels have light blocking curtain,the thick layer with dark colar, then 2nd layer is thinner and light for privacy. There is only one layer of beige, unable to block light well. We could not sleep well because of the lighting issue. The air conditioner/heater unit is unbelievable loud. The dials of the temp control on the unit are very stiff. There is no thermostats in the room we stayed, and we had to adjust the dials on the heater/AC many times to get comfortable temp. The first front staff we interacted was unable to speak clear English. We called to ask where the thermostat was located, she said: it is around the corner of the bed. We searched each cotner of the bed, unable to find it. She offered to enter the room and show us. Well, she lifted the cover of the heater/AC and claimed that was the thermostat. It was not around the corner of the bed. One good thing though, the mattress is comfortable. Overall, we do not think we will come back.

I called before I did my booking to verify that they accept debit Visa was told that they did when I got there they refused my booking but hotels.com was amazing and gave me a full refund but I do not recommend booking this hotel
