Always a good stay here. This is my home away from home when I am traveling to the northern burbs. Nice quiet rooms, solid construction so you don't hear people knocking around. Staff is truly great.

Booked the hotel so my wife and I could have a nice night out and see Titanic (it is excellent, btw) at the Marriott Theatre basically next door and not have to worry about driving back to our home in Chicago. Our room was fine, but we did observe some ants in our room, which was on the first floor with a view of the courtyard. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were fairly flat. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but instead went across Milwaukee avenue to Walker Brothers, the Original Pancake House. All in all, the hotel served well for our needs

King size mattress was very roomy and amazingly comfortable!! Gym was also sufficient with dumbbells up to 50lbs. Nice lobby area for gathering or watching TV.

Where do I even get started. When we first checked into the hotel, the room smelled like smoke—the smell was very terrible and my young daughter is supposed to stay in the hotel with me too. On top of that, the AC was not working at all! At 12:30 am, we called the front desk and reported this because we could not sleep at all, they moved us to a new room at like 1 am. This new room also had a broken AC, but we didn’t call the front desk because we had given up on this cause and we had a six hour drive first thing in the morning the next day so we didn’t bother to switch rooms again. We got no sleep and we have to drive all the way to Minnesota tomorrow so the best thing we can do is get up and have breakfast, but no that turned out worse!! When we booked the hotel room, we paid an additional cost to have breakfast included, but when my daughter and I went over to the breakfast area in the hotel. The so-called “breakfast area” said they don’t provide breakfast with the hotel stay and we need to pay for it again. I walked over to the front desk lady and she confirmed that we indeed did pay for breakfast so she told the woman working at the breakfast area to give us hotel breakfast for two. The same lady who refused to give us breakfast gave us a little sheet with the included breakfast menu after the front desk lady told her too. We ordered from it and they refused to give us half the stuff we ordered and said we have to pay extra so we just took what they gave us. Worst stay!!

Terrible check in experience. I rented two rooms. One for myself and one for my parents. They would not let us (me, my husband, or my father) check into the second room even after showing them the confirmation email, itinerary number, receipt, etc until my mom had also arrived. They were unhelpful and rude. Additionally, the fire alarm went off around midnight for >5 minutes. It was deafeningly loud until the firemen arrived to turn it off. Lastly, they double charged us for our coffee ($40 for two coffees and a breakfast burrito) The rooms were typical hotel rooms.

In town for a wedding. Stayed here along with two other couple friends. Enjoyed the big Lobby to play cards and eat pizza. Staff was very friendly and told us they would clean up the pizza leftovers. The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The shower had good water pressure. Ample parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Bistro options are HORRIBLE. You guys really need to re-think the dining option across all your hotels with this Bistro. The menu is the same, the service is slow, they are always closed, the staff expect a tip upfront and take forever to serve you. You really have to try very hard to make this food and options so horrible. Lady from yesterday morning at the front desk was rude and unfriendly. She seemed bothered by the coffee I asked for. I’m a Marriott customer but will rethink moving forward my hotel options.
