Going to stay here again! So convenient and the staff and proprietor were so nice!

Shows lack of maintenance and breakfast was essentially nothing but coffee and nut bar

Room 234. Bathroom floor had loose tile with black mold. Bedroom had horrible creaking floor. AC worked for 20 minutes then stopped. Refrigerator shuddered loudly when it stopped. Pillows were good.

I get it it’s cheap and I don’t mind that as long as I can walk to the beach. But it was very loud a few times. People arguing at 3:00 in the morning. Then sheriffs beating on their door at 5:09 in the morning. Stayed there many times for location and cost. Staff is always friendly. Just a bad outing this time

Checking into the hotel room we found the room looking unkept and unsanitary. The outlets were unsafe with hangingb wires that sparked when we plugged something in. We were assured a refund/cancellation from the manager for the 2nd day and she told us to have expedia call to get the cancellation and refund for the 2nd day reservation. Expedia both called and emailed multiple times and due to no response there is no refund even though we left due to the poor condition of the hotel. Overall unsafe and dirty. If it were not for compromised health maybe we would have finished our stay because it was prepaid, but we changed hotels.

If all you need is a Clean, basic place to sleep. Good choice. Limited amenities. Lobby doesn't open until 7 a.m. for coffee and paltry snacks.The pool has never been open in the many times I have been here. I have stayed here at least 3 times over the years and the has NEVER been open.

Perfect spot for a nice getaway. The proximity to the beach is a huge plus too!

I liked the price, and that it was clean and bug free, and the staff was nice. I didn’t like that breakfast was advertised as included but was not, the tub had a massive patch on the bottom which made me want to only shower, the tiling faucet leaked and the toilet tank would not consistently fill. I didn’t report any of these things until I was leaving as I hate to complain or move rooms, and the staff was very kind at every interaction so I just waited. Overall it was clean though, which is always my biggest concern when traveling.

We spent a week at this property and got to experience a few different things... -Lights in bathroom didnt work -Tub didn't drain properly -Shampoo was empty -Comp breakfast consisted of a granola bar some days or an apple or instant oatmeal Rooms are very outdated, constant human traffic all night long with yelling and screaming. Went to check out this morning and the clerk seemed annoyed that he had to get off the chair in the back room to take our room keys. You get what you pay for definitely not as advertised

Easy to book friendly front desk clerk. Very run down, dirty, the toilet wouldn’t flush properly and the tub wouldn’t drain

Free breakfast wasn’t much. Only coffee, juice, oatmeal packets, green apple! Used to have frozen breakfast sandwich and granola bars! The shower knob was so tight and couldn’t get the water from dripping after use! No facial tissues in the bathroom.

It was great for what I needed. A place to sleep and shower. Can’t complain about affordable and everyone was nice. This isn’t 5 start but that’s not what I was going for.

You get what you pay for so I didn’t it

Got into bed and noticed sheet had a small spot of black crusty stuff on it. My husband took a shower and tub wouldn’t drain or he could not shut off faucet so called front desk at 7:00 in morning. I asked them to change sheets and fix shower. We got back around 2:30 and neither was done. Need to be updated. We left and didn’t stay second night we paid for.

I stayed here only because of the offered breakfast. It "wasn't delivered" that day and no options to offset costs at a nearby restaurant. The heater either didn't work or took too long but the lack of any additional sheets or blankets made it a long cold night. I wasn't expecting a Hilton but this is Encinitas and they won't be seeing me here again.

Good value for money.

I wanted to thank the Manager of this property. I stayed one night and during the next day I developed some medical symptoms that pushed me to go to the hospital. My wife explained the situation to the manager and he took care of the case since I had reserved the room for two days and a deposit was pending in my credit card. The final result: the property charged me only for the deposit and waved the rest of the stay even though I had made the reservation through a third company. I am OK medically speaking and did not have to fight for a reimbursement. Thank you again.
