Pleasant stay

The stay was good.

The receptionist was nice but the hotel itself is filthy. Room wasn’t clean properly and was missing items. The environment was loud and ghetto. Pool area was unsafe.

Comfortable, close to retail stores and restaurants

We arrived at midnight and was given a room which had not been cleaned and the door was open upon our arrival. The room we moved to 836 had no cold water in the shower and no door knob on the door between the room and living area.

Great location to see a show at USF!

First checked in and the room was dirty. Bathtub looked like it was half cleaned because it had some dirt in it. I always inspect before I unpack my luggage and when my husband sat down on the couch, I saw a bug crawling on it. Took a video of it and went downstairs to get another room. To my surprise the second room was cleaner than the first, however, the bathtub was more dirtier than the first one. Water was leaking and it had a lot of grime and dirt in the middle of the shower. Even when I turned the shower off after trying to run the dirt down the drain, it stayed in place. Overall customer service was nice.

Awful property, worst Embassy Suites I have stayed at. Between the moldy/rusty shower, the canned lights coming out of the ceiling, the A/C that sounds like a jet engine when running, the loud kids running down halls knocking on doors, the broken or missing ice makers on three different floors, the broken coffee maker and so much more, this was a truly poor experience. Would not recommend.

Place needs a fresh in up. Staff is superb, Beds, showers, paint needs to be redone.

No water for 4 hours after checking in. Was told boiler was being repaired. Said I didn’t wanted to check in with my ill mother with no working toilet. Was THEN told after front desk person stepped away and made a phone call that the water was back on and we can check in and would have no problem. A few minutes later we are of course inside a room with no water no working toilet and it stayed that way for close to 4 hours, creating anxiety and anger for my elderly mother and myself. Being lied to was unconscionable. Why must I even justify the need for a toilet. I am forever disgusted by our treatment.

Social hour was a plus but the building is old.

Over priced for what was available

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The customer service was immaculate and out of this world. I was able to check in early. I definitely will staying at this hotel again in the near future. I would recommend staying here. Five stars across the board.

Great staff, wonderful happy hour and free breakfast. Restaurant was good, room was good. Very convenient shuttle also.

It was disappointing that the executive suites were being worked on and that was what I booked and spent additional money on. The room bathroom needs some TLC and since we were facing the road and it gets pretty loud at night with the constant traffic. Staff was absolutely wonderful and the evening drinks and breakfast was wonderful.

Great location and transportation provided with hotel shuttle upon demand - very easily accessible - to Busch Gardens and waterpark, as well as nearby mall with good food options. Good choice of food for included breakfast. Dinner at hotel’s restaurant was delicious and the hotel provides happy-hour free drinks every night(2 per person). There is also a public transportation bus with stop right outside the hotel - downtown Tampa is about 20-30 minutes away by bus depending on traffic; not a crowded bus, fun to see the neighborhoods all the way to downtown. TPA Airport about 25 mins away, very convenient location.
