Very spiffy property overall. Room was large for historical building. In room coffee was a plus, Keurig style machine and tea kettle. Refrigerator. Bed comfortably firm, four large pillows. Breakfast very nice, complete offerings. Location on market square is ideal. A/C not adequate for our south facing room in June even though outside temps were below 70F.

This is a lovely hotel with helpful staff, a really good restaurant and great location.

Shower was not working which I reported to receptionist but no action taken

Beautiful hotel at amazing location with a very good breakfast buffet and restaurant. But the rooms towards the market place are very noisy. With or without open windows you are definitely going to wake up very early as every tourist walking by with their rolling suitcase on cobblestones makes a huge noise. Churchbells start ringing around 7 am……I would stay here again but not on this side of the hotel.

Everything!! Our view of the Christmas Market was added beauty!! So glad we came! The staff were wonderful! Our dinner was amazing! Looking forward to breakfast.

Lovely to look at, great breakfast, quiet and very comfortable room. Lacking a kettle, plug for sink and milk, despite having a little fridge. Annoying that reception sent me to line up at the kitchen to get milk forbtea when requested.

Loved the large room. With full view of the old town. Great food. Very relaxing stay.

The hotel was very traditional and building has lots of history located in the central of the Hildesheim downtown. The room was spacious but smelled like old storage or barn. The shower was modernized but water kept dripping from the shower nozzle even complete shut down and wet towel was placed when I entered the room. Other than that, I enjoyed the hotel and service, breakfast is awesome.

Beautiful unexpected surprise, beautiful hotel, beautiful location

Stunning hotel with an amazing location. Only slight downside is the small interaction we had with the hotel staff was blunt and bordering on rude. The spa was also closed but this was not communicated at check in. May seem harsh on the review, as the stay otherwise was fantastic. Maybe the staff had a bad day, and the 3 minutes I spent with him was completely against the norm.
