Property to old and limited food options

Check in is horrible! Everything else is ok, but you guys need to do something about check in totally slow and completely inefficient!

There is only one bar open at the time, and the drinks seem watered. There is no snacks that you can bring to the pol or beach area. Persinel were not allowed to bring drinks to the beach area. The beach is not suitable for swimming. The food was fantastic.

They bus in people on daily passes.. too many kids take over the resort

If you are looking for a fun enjoyable trip for your family and friends, DO NOT stay at Tesoro. Terrible customer service. You were not allowed to have any food or drinks in the pool area. My husband was told to take off his shirt in the pool because it wasn't one that was used for sun protection. We were constantly watched when we were at the pool, we felt like we were back in grade school. They also give out day passes to residents for the pool, so it was always full. They have ONE restaurant for their "all inclusive" package that had terrible food. My family didn't eat there one time. It closes multiple times during the day, so it wasn't even an option half the time. The only good thing about this place is they cleaned our room daily. We were even told by the locals who provided our excursions that this was a terrible hotel and to never stay here. Horrible experience. Do not go here.

The entire staff was beyond wonderful. Every staff member that I encountered was friendly and helpful. Many of them doing hard jobs, working long days, and their attitudes were excellent. We arrived a little early and we’re put in Villa 13. The beachfront location was great, but the Villa was old and not well maintained. The hot water wasn’t hot, and the water pressure was only enough to use 1 bathroom at s time, even though we paid for 2. We spoke to the staff at the front desk about it, and they immediately sent a maintenance man over. He was able to turn up the temperature on the undersized water heater, but basically told us that he couldn’t do anything about the pressure. We were a group of 6, and there were other issues, so my wife and her sister, again, spoke to the front desk. This time they agreed to move us to a better unit. Villa 10. It was much better. Overall is was definitely satisfactory. The buffet food with the all inclusive package was good. In fact the best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive resort. The dining room staff worked so hard to make sure that all guests were fed well and on time. Again, I can’t say enough good things about the wonderful staff. Despite the facilities being dated, and problems at Villa 13, it was overall a pretty good stay.

Una estancia bastante agradable. Como puntos a favor: un lugar bastante cuidado, fresco y limpio, con reglas claras. ¡Los felicito! Leí comentarios sobre la repetitividad de la comida, sin embargo, yo no noté eso, al contrario, muy buena variación de comida, y el restaurante de especialidades, ¡magnífico! Por otra parte, la zona de playa enfrente del hotel muy bien cuidada, las áreas de comida con aire acondicionado, la piscina limpia, entre otras cosas muy buenas. Repito, ¡felicidades! 👏👏👏

Customer service was bad. The bed was dirty and I asked to get new sheets and they said it would be a fee for new sheets. Never returning again

You get what you pay for. It’s probably worth paying more for a different place. Don’t recommend

The food was surprisingly very good and the highlight of the stay, The hotel itself has seen better days (dirty floors, mold on lamps, broken wall plugs) another downside was the service of the staff as we had to ask for 2 days for new sets of towels before they finally brought them.

De todo a todo mal, pagamos por cama King y nos dieron QUEEN. Y la comida malisima muy poco para escoger. Los postres muy pocos. El Restaurant de Especialidades cerrado. Mas no botana en area de playa ni alberca.

Salvo que nos tocaron unos vecinos de habitación muy ruidosos, todo estuvo muy bien, en especial quiero felicitarlos por proporcionar trabajo a personas de la tercera edad, todo un excelente servicio del personal, solo falta un poco más de limpieza en los baños de la alberca

Hotel areas did not look very clean. Beverages were of very bad quality and some food seemed not in very good stated or prepared. And last but not least, staff not friendly nor helpful.
