We were told to use our keycard to enter the backdoor for closest entry to our room. The back door was wide open. There was brown sticky stuff all over the furniture that I cleaned off with baby wipes. The room was so damp that the towels were not dry. As we were changing clothes to go to our daughter's wedding a man said "Maintenance " knocked on door and opened it. Then said 'Oops sorry. I need to get an updated list of occupied rooms". We will not be staying at this location ever again.

It was adequate for our needs, staff was very nice. Our bathroom sink was completely stopped up, however. Everything else is fine.

The room showed serious aging—cracks in the tub, chipped paint on doors, etc. The room was very clean and fairly comfortable. The hallways were noisy past midnight. It was very basic. The breakfast area was fine, but the coffee was not.

The stay was excellent. The room was pleasant with plenty of amenities at the price point. The continental breakfast was simple but good and the coffee was very good. The bed was one of the best hotel beds I've ever slept in. Only small issue I had was with the toilet flushing on the first day, but it was fixed by room service and all went well.

Filthy and overpriced. Friendly staff.

The hotel was a close and affordable option outside of Bloomington.

Wow! What a delightful little city this is. We liked it so much when we last came here a couple of months ago that we couldn't wait to come back. This Best Western was truly the best! By the way, we had a fantastic dining experience at Greek's Pizza/ Groggy Goat!!! Highly recommend...

prepaid through Expedia to stay from March 25 through the next week but left early due to terrible conditions. The first night was fine, and the manager, Amy, was incredibly helpful in switching me to a pet-friendly room for my elderly dog. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill. My room was next to an exit where people constantly smoked cigarettes and marijuana right by the door. The smell filled my room nightly, and the walls were so thin I could hear loud arguments from the guests across the hall. I reported it to the front desk; one staff member was kind but couldn’t move me due to my pet. Later, when I reported people smoking in the hallway, a different staff member, Shannon, dismissed it and said there was nothing she could do. She also brushed me off when I said the WiFi wasn’t working—I couldn’t work from my room at all. After the first disruptive guests left, the new ones told me not to worry about the “sugary smell” because they were using meth “as part of their treatment.” Add hours of barking from dogs in nearby rooms, and I had no choice but to leave days early. This hotel does not enforce smoking policies, allows open drug use, and has serious safety and cleanliness issues. Amy was great, but the rest of the experience was awful. Avoid this place.

Staff was excellent. Comforters were too light on the beds. Showers were hot, but shower head streams were too strong and bordered on painful. Breakfast was average.

Friendly staff worked hard to get a full house in, rested, fed breakfast and out the door early for a state chess tournament. A effort!

Quiet and close to stores

Comfortable and quiet.

The staff was very nice and courteous, clean room and bathroom. Just a regular old hotel. There was construction going on on the roof that was so loud, even on the first floor. I can't imagine what the people staying on the second floor were hearing.
