My stay was good but the only disappointment was we had z family room with x2 different quilts. One was the right one but the other was more like a matteress cover and i was cold all night.

The hotel is not as clean it used to be and the building needs some updating as looking a little tired. Still a good hotel in lovely location and will go back again

Lovely property. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the staff were great. Only slight gripe was the noisy golf parties that took over the pool and were noisy till quite late. But still a lovely place.

The hotel is nice but outdated. It needs a renovation. I’d not bother to go to a restaurant. It’s expensive for cheap food and the service is not great.

I won’t be too harsh, as I was only at the hotel for less than 12 hours while playing golf at The Belfry. The staff were great, and the rooms were tidy. However, I felt the pricing on the bar menu didn’t offer good value for money. I understand that hotels can charge a premium, but £20 for fish and chips that were overcooked wasn’t great. The staff were accommodating and replaced it, but the explanation that it was due to the beer batter wasn’t convincing—I’ve had beer-battered fish plenty of times before. The second portion was slightly better, but still not up to the standard you’d expect for that price. Aside from that, everything else was good.

The hotel is great for a city break . Its very nice . There was limited access for disabled people , the lifts are small and the pool area did not accommodate disabled people. It was difficult to move around the area.

The reviews are a little mixed for this hotel, but thought to still give it a go. Yes it's a little older hotel, not a brand new development. However the building and grounds are well maintained and inside is clean and tidy. Polite welcome on reception and the room was comfy, clean and tidy. Well appointed bathroom and good shower pressure. Couldn't really asked for anything else and will return if in the area on business. Cannot comment on food as didn't eat there

Five minutes from the NEC. Helpful staff. Beautiful building and grounds. Comfy room. Good standard of cuisine. Very pleasant environment. Peaceful. General facilities good. However the bedroom phone wasn't working, there were no bedroom notes about how to dial reception, no information about how to obtain the hotel's wifi. The blankets on the bed were thin and this, combined with the older fashioned radiator (which was working but not as efficient as more modern electrical heaters in some hotels) would not shield one from the colder winter nights. The round table between the armchairs was very "Wonkey Donkey" and I was afraid to use it in case it fell apart. Lastly, as in other hotels, there appears to be a sweeping policy of not issuing the rooms with actual bars of soap, which I prefer to the liquid soap fixed to the walls. I have reprted these things to the hotel so that they have a chance to put them right.

Nice hotel and setting, we'd stayed here before a few years back. But a little soulless for us but doesn't detract from the hotel its self

Nice location but very tired, the rooms need a refurbish, very dated, the hallways are tatty. Breakfast pastries were stale both days. The layout inst great either as we had an elderly relative with us and had to walk miles and miles round very confusing corridors to the rooms, beware only 1 lift! Staff brilliant tough.

The hotel is looking dated in places - bathrooms and pool/spa. Reception staff were pleasant, not so much in the restaurant. Food was OK and fairly priced off the menu. Room was nice and bed was comfortable so that’s the main important thing.
