My reservation was messed up and I couldn't check in. They had me as checking in tonight instead of last night, which forced me to drive almost 20 hours. They would not cancel my reservation and still took my money, even though I never checked in. Sketch if you ask me. This customer service was no help either. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

Absolutely filthy. Seen multiple different bedbugs and cockroaches in the room. Cigarette burn holes all in the bed and it is disgusting. It does not look like the room was even cleaned at check-in. Worst hotel I’ve ever seen in all my years of traveling.

Hotel has bad bugs Beatles cockroaches in their rooms. The dirtiest place not even worth staying here for $15 a night. The manager is very rude disrespectful they do not care about their customers and they’ll ignore any complaint. Never stay here. This is absolutely one of the worst hotels in Roanoke.

You get what you pay for but it was very run down and only offered toast and jam for breakfast. The smoke alarm was missing. Some of the sockets didn’t work.

This is disgusting! The smoke detector is missing exposing live wires. The bathroom faucet is broken. Bathroom vent doesn't work. The tiles in the bathroom are broken, loose and filthy. The latch lock on the door is broken. There is no breakfast. When I asked why there was no breakfast the "manager" told me she would grab a loaf of bread. This place was so bad we didn't stay our second night despite already paying in full. This dump needs to be condemned!

We checked in really late. The guy at the front desk was nice and did a good job checking us in. However, the room stunk, but we were tired and went straight to bed. When I got up in the morning in and went into the bathroom, I saw the ceiling above the shower was well covered in black mold--could be the source of the stink. I also noticed a good layer of dust on top of the light shades. The fridge did not work well; part of it's top was actually broken off. The corridors were poorly lit and smelled musty as well.

This motel was in the worst part of town and after arriving with room paid in full with Expedia the motel still wanted an additional $100 cash for the room deposit. Clerk could barely speak English. This location should not be on Expedia! We did not stay the night at this dump!

I would like a refund, I was not able to check in when we arrived , there was a gentleman ahead of us he and clerk were arguing over a 100.00 cash deposit they were requiring for the night stay and saying it was requirement and he stated that it was nowhere on the Expedia website about this, so he left. Then it was my turn and me and my wife were told we had to pay the 100.00 cash deposit to stay and we told them do we were not paying that; it was scam and they’re scamming people out of money, the hotel is very dirty, run down, staff is rude. The staff is not helpful. They were in the middle of shift change and the new clerk never spoke to us and she was rude, talked to her about 100.00 deposit and she stated it was on super 8 website explained to her we booked through Expedia and she said then you need to talk to Expedia. My wife and her got in a heated argument and she wouldn’t let us have our anyway, so we need a refund, asap, and she called the police on my wife cause she got too close to our personal property which was our car my wife told her to back away and just barely touched her shoulder and the clerk slapped her so hard she left a red streak on her face, so this was the worst experience of any hotel I ever tied to stay at in my entire life, and they’re scamming people. The cops came and they said they come at 6 times a week. I wouldn’t be promoting that hotel. It’s not in a good location at all. Thank you and please let me know about my refund asap.

•on well water/very low water pressures •Housekeeping doesn't knock they just come into your room • No do not disturb signs provided to customers who stay •The "Breakfast" is just orange juice and apple juice... •The vending machines date back to the 80s, so no card or dolla bills, just coins. •Check in staff is physically slow. (With that wifi, idk why I'm surprised) •No bathrooms in lobby nor anywhere but rooms. (Problem there being they are so slow you gotta stop elsewhere before you get there if you need to go, and not everyone is gonna know that coming from outta state) •The rooms are half ass cleaned. •Hand towels and washcloths in bathrooms but no bath towels. 🤔
