A lovely hotel, traditional yet with modern facilities. Didn’t like the unexpected additional compulsory expense for parking but definitely recommend and would stay again.

Great stay very helpful staff with friendly atmosphere 👍 well recommended.

We love this hotel and have visited many times. It is quirky as all rooms are different, the breakfast is good and plentiful, the ambiance is quiet and understated and it is in a great position to explore the town.

Well situated in reach of the town centre

Good central location, breakfast, bar service (only 1 girl but she was efficient and friendly but needed more staff). Only 1 small lift. Poor ventilation in room. Overnight parking expensive. Restricted dinner menu.

Place was nice. I like to use a fire stick and the tvs are old and don’t have the original remote so can’t change hdmi etc

Lovely hotel and great service. We were down for 2 nights with our dog. Pet friendly hotel, lovely grounds for us and the dog. Very friendly service and location. Had to pay on site parking which was not ideal but is pretty standard I guess in that area.

2 night stay 2 night stay for bank holiday weekend with a dog We were allocated a third floor bedroom which was incredibly warm and the window couldn’t open any further. We were then moved to bedroom on 2nd floor which was much more airy and better standard. Breakfast was really nice and you could help yourself to cold and warm selection. Nice open grounds for walks with dog - close to city centre and all the restaurants

I have never had a room allocated that was as cold as it was. The corridor was warmer. An oil filled radiator was supplied for the second night that made things bearable. The breakfast was not what should be expect3d the cooked breakfast was just warm rather than hot and the fried eggs on the first day were not good, staff did offer to replace them but time was against this. Rather dissappointing stay

It was the kindness and consideration or the staff throughout my stay that made this a welcoming, relaxed stay. Would highly recommend this hotel

Friendly Staff.. television powered on a wonky wall setting difficult to use and view . Once again we were faced with a £12 parking charge which is a sneaky way of upping the room rate. However, we have a disabled badge and we’re able to park in the street. Good breakfast, we will stay again when on business in Yorkshire.

Beautiful old hotel & well maintained. The staff was very helpful- front desk excellent , restaurant excellent, pub excellent. The location is fantastic and a quick walk to some great restaurants and the Turkish baths. We also walked to the city park and to Harlow car Gardens from the hotel.

We did feel that we were at the back of beyond with our room. A long way to walk to. But it was a good standard for the money we paid. But we do like the hotel and breakfast was lovely.

What a charming hotel. Full of character with a great team in a perfect location a few minutes walk to Harrogate centre. Definitely recommended.

Nice old fashioned hotel clean and warm in fact a little too warm in the morning when the heating came on but ok for an overnight stay

Happy with most of my stay except the old heating system that made a banging sound every 5 minutes when the heating was going off at night then again at 6 am disturbing my sleep. Being able to leave luggage on arrival and departure was excellent. The food in the restaurant was very good.
