Unfortunately during my stay the hotel was totally under construction with obstacles everywhere. This wasn’t disclosed during booking or prior to check/in. Ice facilities/basic amenities were also unavailable

The price was too high for a property affected by significant building works. Prior to arrival there was no indication that building works were ongoing. Deception?

The hotel is a nice building, lots of space and clean. It is going through a renovation at the moment and unfortunately that detracted from our stay. Workmen started using tools as early as 7:30. Not ideal, as someone who works in the hotel industry I know noisy work should not start before 8:00 ideally 10:00 at the very earliest. Apart from this we did manage to get some sleep but would have loved to utilise the 11:00 check out to fullest.

The hotel is undergoing much needed renovation work. In my room I had no wi-fi signal reception and no mobile signal reception, which was very frustrating. By asking around I understood that this was an issue shared by other rooms too. Cleanliness was just about acceptable - the carpet looked very dusty in places, but it did not bother me as much as the no connectivity. Everything else was very decent

Stayed for a night as we were seeing Billy Ocean. Great location and we got parking which was £20. We noticed the hotel is being renovated and they gave us a lovely room on the 6th floor. It was very hot and there was no aircon which we were told but though the receptionist was friendly, at the time told us it was hot and about the aircon not working but did not offer us a fan. I think we payed high price for the room I don’t know if it was because the had gigs going on in Leeds but for what I payed for the night compared to normal it was expensive. We weee boiling hot and hot back too late to ask for a fan and just had cold showers. We expressed this in the morning and was told they had fans but did mention that it was never offered to us. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and breakfast was lovely and they catered for Gluten free. However because of the price of the room for that night and not being offered a fan, we were abit disappointed.

Parts of the hotel are being renovated at the moment, but this didnt effect our stay, it was peaceful, clean and the staff went above and beyond to make my friend and my stay a great experience. Our accommodation was perfect, it was spacious, clean and very up to date and modern. We both agreed that we would definitely stay again.

Upgraded free to a New double delux room on Top floor, I thought WOW lucky me! shower hardly worked! No air con working so the room was crazy hot! Wouldn't have payed the renovation teams that worked on this hotel with peanuts! Shocking!

Hotel room was very clean. I was impressed by the amenities available. The bed wasn't the comfiest I've ever had, but for the price I can't complain.

I stayed during a period of ongoing construction work at the hotel. Unfortunately, building activity began as early as 4:30 am, with trucks arriving every 30 minutes to load and unload materials. The constant noise made it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. Guests should be made aware of this in advance.

The hotel is like a building site - it should not be open to the public - the construction works started banging and drilling at 7.45.Dust everywhere The heating was not working, so they brought up portable radiators. The general manager was nowhere to be seen - worse, stay never again

The property was right where we needed it to be in terms of accessibility to the heart of the city and the train station. It looked nicer in the photos than in real life, mostly because they were promoting renovations to the property that were not yet complete. In our rooms, the fixtures were older, but our rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. We would have preferred to know in advance about construction, but the staff were gracious and let us into one of our rooms early, since it was ready. We were tired from traveling and needed a chance to rest. Staff were very nice and professional. They held our bags for us after checkout. The breakfast was tasty and available until 11 am, which we appreciated.
