Stay was nice and the location was close to everything we needed during our visit, would recommend for a nice budget stay.

The location is ideal, with easy access to businesses and restaurants. The staff is friendly and accommodating. However, the hotel is quite old, with many amenities in disrepair. There are unpleasant odors in the carpets and beds, which are also uncomfortable. Additionally, the air conditioning unit is noisy.

Comfortable stay and quiet

Sheets on the bed were dirty. Tv did not work. Remote did not work. Rooms did not have enough lighting. A dog was off the leash walking in the hallway. Drywall was damaged in the stairwell. The curtain in the bathroom was not a proper size so the floor got extremely wet. There was hair from the last person staying there in the tub.

We stay in a room with 2 beds and there was big stains on the box spring of some type of fluid. The other room that we got the toilet didnt work and got switched to a different room that had roaches.

There was never anyone at the front desk. I always had to call to get someone to show up the room smelled when I went in and then after taking one shower, there was at least 2 feet of water in the tub that would not drain even the next day, I told them and they didn’t do anything the breakfast was decent and the people were friendly just weren’t very attentive

Place was smelly and dirty

The room is nice. Was disappointed the pool/hottub was closed. The breakfast area was a disater this morning. Good for the value.

Excellent

You are in the middle of anything you could need. Food, entertainment, peace and quiet. There was traffic quite close, but you don't notice due to the location and setting. The TV and its remote could have been better but I wasn't there to watch TV. Hopefully, I'll be back soon. Just move The Colony a wee bit closer to Iowa and I would be back tomorrow.

Overall, very good and efficient. Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed without notice at Expedia (under renovation).

you need to read about the hotel before don't just go off the pictures there's no pool there's only a couple channels on the TV that barely work and just it's not what the pictures look like at all just be aware okay other than that the front desk guy was kind of cool he was kind of nice to me other than that yeah just don't let the pictures fool you okay

Staff was very friendly. I only slept there so there wasn’t much time to really have an opinion of the hotel. Had a couple of small issues but they took care of my needs
