The issue was the bed, when we got in, it creaked, banged, we didn’t know what caused it . The mattress slopped into the centre, it was a king size bed! The bed wasn’t comfortable!

The room was quite clean, staff very friendly, but our only problem was the price. For an older hotel.. the price of a room is almost twice what it should be.. realistically.

The hotel is located between two very busy road and we were allocated a room on the busiest road nothing good for a good sleep, we ask for a change of room and got a room on the less busy street. Both room were very clean, however the carpet in the hallway is wearout and dirty, everywhere.

Reasonable accommodation for a short stay with good location. Bar was comfortable. Nice pool. Age definitely showing on carpets, room finishes, mattress.

Beds were not comfortable. Room had a double blind system for windows but the blackout one kept breaking and all they did was roll it back up each time but didn't test it. Each time I tried to partially roll the blind down, it came flying down. Oddly even the cleaning staff didn't bother to have it fixed - I had to go down to front desk twice as no one was answering the phone. We stayed for 3 days and were never able to look outside. Not sure if we will be back 🤔

The room was pretty bare, no table in the corner and the TV didn't work so we had to change rooms. We left 2 items in the old room and of course they were not there when we went back in( probably stolen) Bed was very comfortable.

i had a surgical procedure done earlier that day. it would've been nice to have a room closer to the elevator so i wouldn't have to walk so much. other wise, we enjoyed the stay.

It had everything u needed, and very close to polo park and other restaurants. Rooms were noisy because of kids running around, there is a pool there. Also on a busy street. Rooms were dated and could see the wear and tear.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Viscount Gort Hotel. While the room was clean, the breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and courteous, the overall experience was poor because of the lack of a quiet, comfortable room. Noise was a constant issue. I could clearly hear people in the hallway, and there were other unidentified noises throughout the night that made it difficult to get a proper sleep. On top of that, the room temperature was difficult to regulate, making the room too warm. I chose not to report the issues during my stay, but the combination of excessive noise, poor temperature control and other issues outweighed the positive aspects of the hotel. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

Very clean , great staff, quiet area. I will come and stay in hotel again.
