Initially had an issue with my first room being too noisy and no hot water. Staff immediately changed me to another wing and all was well. There were issues as well with noisy guests that the staff addressed right away. Room was quite large. Everything was very clean. Restaurant in hotel only open till 2:00 in the afternoon but there’s a sports bar there as well where you can order food till late. I ate at both places and the food is very good with excellent service. Lovely Sunday brunch which was a nice surprise.

Cleanliness is sub par, beds felt springy, dirty, bathrooms poorly cleaned or rished. Pool floors were slimy and very slippery. Experience was loud and drunks screami g in hallways, banging doors all night. called to complain, said they approached the rooms , but it affected nothing. Eventually fire alarm was set off, so no sleep, driving home now. Bhorrible experience. Party hotel if thats what your looking for, they seem to do nothing about the noise, or enforce anything

The room I was in had no hot water. When reported to clerk her responses “I am sorry did you let it run for a while my response. “I Did” I believe I should receive a refund. Every room must have hot water. Also no water in the room for coffee or tea. I was told I had to purchase from the vending machine. Not Happy they are lucky to get the stars they did. I was going to give you all a 1. But the room was somewhat clean whole building smelled of smoke.

The window in my room faced the back underside of the waterslide so the view sucked and I got to hear all the screaming from the pool area. The only flaw to an otherwise excellent time.

This was the worst hotel experince i have ever had. I booked on expedia in my 18 year old daughters name, using my credit card. She does not have her own credit card, but she and her friend wanted to stay close to the mall and go shopping. When we arrived, they would not let her check in on my credit card, she had to have her own. They would not take payment or damage deposit through my card, even though I was there. If the clerk had been apologetic, it may have been easier to take, but he was rude and condescending, and made me feel like a less valuable client for booking through a travel app. They offered no solutions for our dilemma and I ended up having to book a room at a hotel down the street for her. I am still working on getting a refund for this room that no one got to use.

Rooms were clean, the rest of the hotel smelt dirty. Visually the hotel had seen better days. Elevator was big enough for one person and their luggage. I would not stay here again.

It’s always a great stay at the Gort. The staff is wonderful. Especially Lori in the bar and Ron in the restaurant. Will definitely be back. The pool and hot tub are very relaxing.

It’s an older hotel but well kept. Didn’t use the pool but it looks nice along with the exercise room. My only concern was I couldn’t find a snack machine or drink machine that worked
