No coffee in the lobby. I find that strange for a hotel

We have stayed here many times since we have family in Rutherford. Everytime we have felt safe, comfortable, and close to everything. The staff has always been very respectful and quick to answer any questions.

Our experiences begin with a remote that we could not find in the room. They ended up bringing a new one to our room. Then the toilet ran all night. The handle was broken and often times got stuck in the flush position then at 530am the fire alarm in the room went off. However, it didnt go off in the whole hotel just in our room. When we brought the concerns to the front they stated they could not refund us for the stay because we booked with a 3rd party.

Auto check in didn’t work but in person check in was easy.

First let me say that the front desk and the lady that is over the breakfast on the 9th floor are amazing. Very sweet and gave great recommendations. As far as the room goes it could use some updates especially in the bathroom. The hotel should definitely invest in some NEW towels. All of our towels were worn so badly two were ripped. The housekeeping is what needs to be addressed. There is a middle aged black lady ,she is so unfriendly. She would never speak and everytime we asked her a question she would answer rudely. My daughter asked for towels?she stated “I don’t have any you have to call downstairs” while standing next to her cart full of towels. She was our housekeeper she did the bare minimum so that we could tell she was there. Overall the stay was cool, won’t be back to that location but it served our purpose. Get rid of that mean lady that cleans she doesn’t fit everyone else’s tone .

The hotel was nice and we went there to see a magician who was great. What I loved most was the niceness and professionalism of Stephen at the front desk. I’m really hoping I’m remembering his name, but he was great when we came in he helped us in the morning when we left. He was there so it’s nice to have that personalization. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This is exactly the experience I expected. Quick check in, enjoyed the ambiance of the dining facility and the staff were more than efficient; they were excellent. The room was quiet and the decor is “home spun”!
