Great hotel, staff chatty and helpful. Free breakfast was great especially as they had gluten free cereals, sausages and bread.

Great hotel in an ideal spot for getting to York. The man on reception was lovely...really nice and helpful and very welcoming 😄 The breakfast was great too ...lots of choice all freshly prepared

No bin liners in bins! Toilet seat hinges broken so moves.. Had to call staff to get heating to work

Nice place but very remote.

The staff were brilliant and so friendly. The hotel itself is a little run down specially for the price of our stay. We actually left a day early as we had run out of things to do in York and breakfast wasn’t great.

Bed was very comfortable… the fire door on corridor just banged all night …. Needs a self closer on it…

We came here and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. We will come again next time if we have the chance.

Lots of choice for breakfast. However the bacon had been cooked and left a while so was like leather. I would rather wait for it to be cooked fresh. Orange juice was watery and bitter. Overall was a pleasent one night stay.

Comfortable bed, and room very clean, and serviced daily. There was a good selection at breakfast, and food was constantly replenished. Breakfast items are all good quality, and staff are very friendly, polite and go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. There is plenty of free parking spaces. Highly recommend this hotel , and would choose to stay here again when in the area.

The staff were friendly but one young receptionist thought wexhad checkedc out and we hadnt so we couldnt get back into our room it was rectified straight away and apologised

We enjoy staying at the Holiday Inn. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. Everything is clean. The breakfast buffet is constantly renewed with fresh food. Parking easy even when we have to bring out van Will choose to stay there next time we go to York

The breakfast was excellent and great choice too, rooms were spotless and well equipped staff especially the manager were great and cheerful. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
