Beds were too soft.

Amazing

Me and my partner booked a last minute trip here and found it online at a competitive price compared to others in the area, as well as free parking on site. Nothing to complain about, all in all a lovely hotel. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

Service was very very good

Initially gps could not find it by the post code plus the image did not match the outside. Should have said Toby Carvery. Beds were awful, and the duvets rustled. Jept waking up. Got up aching as the bed was too soft and sank in the middle

The property had amenities near by. The carparking was very compact with tight spaces.

Couldn’t fault the hotel in anyway, staff were excellent and would do anything for you. Breakfast was great and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a pleasant stay.

I loved staying here because the bed was comfortable, there was special soap and shampoo in the shower room and toilet, the staff were mostly friendly and courteous. Getting there was difficult by public transport I would say but there's a great Carvery next door. My double room was spacious with a fine telly (although the controls took some getting used to! - as I'm an older person but not old) I would definitely consider returning. There were no chests of drawers but I didn't mind - hangers though. I liked the door in the toilet! Well done to the staff in the hotel.

Convenient location just outside of York. Friendly receptionist who gave me some taxi numbers in case I needed them later on in the evening. Good breakfast with nice selection. Comfortable bed, good powerful shower thankfully with shampoo provided as I’d forgotten it!

My stay was very good

2 night couples’ break for a birthday celebration. Double bed small and didn’t have particularly great sleep. Breakfast good and staff very friendly. We didn’t bring the car as we decided to come on the train to York and we didn’t realise that whilst it’s only 3 miles from the centre, there’s no main / regular bus service or hotel mini bus which would be really helpful for guests (even with a cost attached) Instead it cost us £12-£15 each single way trip. Please bear that in mind !!! It does have an impact on your overall spend for the time away.
